Or do you stream/digital download?

Though there's not a lot of shows I want to get, there's a few I do want to get on Blu-Ray.

I stopped collecting after Boardwalk Empire. Most new shows are not even worth watching for free.

I have a few, the 24 series, Spartacus, haven't bought any in a while. Last I bought was impractical jokers

A few more I want to get
Star Trek: TNG
X-Files
The DCAU
Seinfeld
Breaking Bad

I've got shedloads but stream everything now. I did buy Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place off of someone who downloaded it and put it on DVD which was neat being I adore Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion.

I have the first 8 seasons of Seinfeld and complete SpongeBob, Ren and Stimpy, The Twilight Zone, Beavis and Butthead, Simpsons, and The Wonder Years. Might add X-Files eventually. Both Beavis and Butthead and Simpsons were $20 each for the complete collections at garage sales. I'd like to own a complete collection of Forensic Files but it's a little expensive

I cant remember the last dvd i bought i think it was King of Queens set for a birthday years ago wasnt for me. DVDs take up space and i dont really take care of things too well. Nowadays you can download everything even with the DVD special contents like commentary and so on.

One series ,although not popular, I'd like to get is

That was a Top 10 show when it aired, IIRC. Wonderful show.

*Edit*
It also received a ton of award nods including 4 nominations (1 of those it won) for Best Drama at the Emmy's. That's rarefied air. Only 35 shows in history have received 4+ noms for that award. Among shows of the 90's this puts it in the same class as only Law & Order, NYPD Blue, ER, and the X-Files.

Yes but only for my favorite TV shows and only if the series is completed. It has to be Blu-ray or UHD though. I can't bother with DVD anymore.

Start with the classics like The Wire, Oz, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Mad Men.
yeah I was in the same boat that whatever was on HBO at the time was worth collecting the bluray DVD set from 2003 to 2012. My HBO collection included Tale from the Crypt, Band of Brothers, Carnivale, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome and GOT. I stopped buying blurays around season 2 of GOT since everything was going to streaming anyhow

I buy blurays, because I invested in a home theater setup and can tell the difference between compressed low bit rate 4k and 4k bluray quality, I also like having physical copies so they are always available, I don't have to worry about stuff being taken off the platform or internet was temporarily out.

I have band of brothers (and pacific), breaking bad, battlestar galactica, Star Trek TNG, Chernobyl, GoT. This boxing day, I am hoping to see The Wire and the Sopranos on sale.

Never saw a point to owning physical copies, even in the 90s. I remember my friends and family having bookshelves dedicated to VHS and CDs. Seems like eventually they'll end up in your mom's or ex wife's garage sale lol.

only single-season limited series (mostly anime) like Berlin Alexanderplatz, Toei Spider-Man, Paranoia Agent, The Tatami Galaxy, & Ping Pong

Yes. Bluray of Strikeback where one season came with digital and other didn't have code. I don't think digital only is available on Apple anymore.

Only ones I know I'll re-watch like Carnivale, Breaking Bad, Bob's Burgers, the original run of Futurama, Millennium, Twin Peaks, Always Sunny, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, etc. Then there's obscure shows that will otherwise rarely be seen again. Plus I'll collect the ones I watched as a kid as it's always pleasant to re-watch an episode of them from time to time. They feel way less childish than modern kids shows look to be so they still hold entertainment value.
