Do you believe Bo Nickal?

I don't think he would have had any issue or cause to feel embarrassed by turning it down, if he in fact wanted to turn it down. He's very hard on himself. After his last win he admitted to the entire world that he has a lot more work to do.

You guys are shitting on Bo Nickal. Why? If you think he's being hyped too much, don you think you should be blaming Dana?

No. He ducked and in a way rightfully so. IT would be a big step for him and Rob isn't exactly the best match up. He needs to fight more and get better at MMA in order to wear the moniker "Dagestani killer" with pride which is still to be proven.

I dont blame him for not taking the fight but why even mention it? If he hadnt said anything, no one would know.
He didn't bring it up out of the blue.

He was asked very directly "Did you get a call to fly to Saudi arabia on 10 days notice?"

Not sure why he wouldn't answer. It's an interesting situation. Not like he needs to keep it a secret.

also doesn't even really seem to try and lie and say he deffo would've taken the fight if he could've answered the call, as he adds "honestly I don't really wanna go to Saudi Arabia and fight - that's freaking far"

Risking a career altering beatdown against a top 5 MW and former champion on short notice isn't smart, especially when you're not even a top 15 fighter.

I don't blame him for not taking it. I doubt the UFC offered him what it was really worth for him to take that risk.

He's 28 and so far his opponents have had a combined record of 5-14 in the UFC. Time to step up or stop talking shit.

Sorta.

They probably called him as their 5th option to see if he was down. He wasn't actually "offered" anything.
