It's definitely better than it used to be. When I first got into it, many of the fights were big mismatches. Girls like Kelly Kobolt, Tara Larosa, Jennifer Howe, etc. were clearly better than the rest and they would basically squash their opponents in uncompetitive matches. The rest who weren't on their level were very sloppy and hard to watch.

Now that WMMA has been in the UFC for a few years, the talent pool has gotten much better, and many of the fighters are close to one another, in terms of skill and talent. I appreciate it, but I've always been a fan, so I guess I'm a bit biased.

I actually like it. And cant wait for rousey to come back. Jj, thug rose, pvz, miesha, pena all fun to watch. Ive watched a lot of sloppy fights by men fighters too. Have a huge dvd library of kotc. But i cant get into womens boxing or wnba. Im down with womens volleyball and tennis.

No to be honest i think it sucks, was great having it as main event on UFC 200. Meant i didnt have to sit through it.

I was a hater. Then I realized I end up watching all the fights anyways.

I like and respect it for what it is.

I mean, did anyone like what MMA was like back when it first got started?

The answer is yes.

WMMA is behind MMMA by alot, weak divisions, but MMA in general wasn't always the best either.

I hate watching most ammy WMMA but UFC/Invicta is the tits.

No pun intended. OR maybe it was.

I respect female athletes but I find it unwatchable, personally.

Just because my dog kills a cat doesn't make him a lion tamer

Admit it. You were just looking for an excuse to use this saying. And remember, cats beat dogs, unless you can find a dog that can take a Siberian tiger. Or a lion.

WMMA fights on the card provide an opportunity for bathroom breaks, time to make nachos, and a run for more beer.
