I dont put it past people to fake shit but thats alot to go through to make this fight.

Is his trainer lying about not being paid? Did the entire gym create a publicity stunt to throw them out and have people in the gym shit on Colby all in the hopes that maybe one day they'd fight and it would create a storyline?

I think they were friends, money got involved, people saw Colby not treating people who helped him get to the top the right way and it caused a riff.

So yeah I do think there is something real between them and that camp.

I didn't say it was all a scheme from the very beginning. The cards fell where they fell and they were able to capitalize on the situation. Colby got the IC and a rivalry grew between them both. I never said it was 100% manufactured, but you can clearly tell they are exaggerating the conferences and interviews with an extra flash of spice and substance, resorting to high school antics and middle school comebacks to sizzle the beef until it's way over well done.

If you can't see that, then I don't know what else to tell you. Retard.

These guys need more PPV's to make more money so obviously they are going to go way over the top on comments which is the fake part. During the insults it is very possible that one of them goes too far and does trigger some "real" anger from the other one in not wanting to be showed up in the war of words.

Many fighters also need a reason to dislike their opponent to trigger their best fighting. That part is real and fake at the same time where they get angry because that is what they need to do. The anger is immediately gone after the fight.

It's real as in they really don't like each other.

It's fake as in they don't actually need to waste any time and energy on it, they do it because of the money.

So the hate is real, but the magnitude is fake. But they fight either way so does it really matter?

It is fake, but fake sells, and Colby became fake over time. However, the fight is real, but it is a job for seasoned fighters. How much invested emotion is really there inside that person is anyones guess ? All it really is male drama.....it is a male soap opera, so they feed the crowd to hate each other like WWE. Men like WWE drama, women like gossip drama and the in-between people like reality shows which is not really reality if you think about it.

I think the beef is real to an extent, but it's being overplayed to sell the fight.
I could see them maybe consoling after the fight, but I don't think they'll "makeup" and become friends again right on the spot.

Probably in a few years after both their MMA careers are over. Even if this beef is all real, it doesn't seem as venomous as Jones/Cormier or Khabib/McGregor for them to not be able to put it behind them.

if it's fake, the guys need to consider some movie roles
its quite easy to spot genuine disdain, and if you can't spot it in either guy, you most definitely don't have actual human experiences

You got two guys who are best friends trying to get paid. One is a fun fighter that, other than striking gold with Till and Askren, is a gatekeeper at best. The other is very good, but not good enough to beat the champion, and more often than not boring as shit to watch. I have very little doubt these two call each other to coordinate the best way they can milk more money from the wolf tickets they're selling.

I mean, they managed to get the UFC to book them to headline a PPV without any title on the line, so clearly it's worked. Good for them I suppose.

Pretty clearly being milked for PPV and I actually think Jorge is a better at it than Colby, but they play super well off each other.

I know it's fake and am still excited for the presser haha.

I believe that they dont like each other any more, but, are hamming it for the hype to sell more and pay for those Miami's parties they love so much.

They were super cool until suddenly they werent.

The colby beef with usman was entertaining, but wasnt real either.

Both have 2 losses to the champ, and mas is likely about to be on the downslide, so it was an obvious easy payday for 2 guys with no clear path in the division.

Wolf tickets but i'll be entertained.

Probably they were always cool and respected each other, and this was just a gimmick to sell the fight.
