Do we really need to see JDS get TKO'd again?

If it wasnt for injuries Cain would have probably been the Goat at HW, injuries is what done him in. Like the other guy said Gane aint no Cain. Prime Cain defeats Gane and if you think he doesnt you are fooling yourself.

this isn't true. Cain's legend is far greater than the fighter ever was. His being champ and not fighting built up his lore. Fast finishes don't demonstrate a great fighter even though it leaves the biggest impression. Gain is the real deal.

and spent 90% of his prime fighting JDS and Bigfoot

2 fights ago i thought he had retired and here we are now, 2 stoppages more to the list, is he in need of money? HW's usually make very decent money each fight, he was complainign about the punch being to the back of the head, but well, it was borderline and he was the one turning his head away from his rival, so a part of it its on him, and well, it was a matter of time anyway.

JDS reminded me just a little bit of Bob Sapp last night.

Watching live it looked to me like he choose to just go down into turtle position, either that or it was a weird delayed reaction knockdown but couple it with the way he turned his back and it is hard to deny the possibility that JDS was looking for a way out as soon as things weren’t going his way.

This isn’t the first time I have felt this way about JDS recently but it seemed pretty obvious this time.

I dont want to see jds fight anymore. Whenever he loses it doesnt seem to be something he shouldve lost from. Its more like he has something wrong with him that makes his lights go out too easy now.
Could not have said it better myself, he was always an explosive fighter too, so as they age and their reflexes slow they get hit a lot.

Youre crazy, Cain had a great package for a Champion, a great wrestler, with the best gas tank at HW with good striking. Yeah there is no doubt prime Cain beats Gane and beats Stipe as well.

There's always doubt when you're talking about fantasy batman vs. superman kind of matchups. I'd favour Cain too but it's stupid to claim "there's no doubt".

on a main card? Dana cutting Romero to make room at the bottom, then still highlights his main card with a basketball head like JDS. It's cruel at this point. Junior should retire before the CTE kicks in because no one needs to be taking that kind of punishment.
Yes

I didnt mean it literally there is no doubt but Prime Cain would have been a favorite against Stipe and a heavy favorite vs Gane. IMO Prime Cane was the Goat HW but I can see how some would say its Fedor since injuries did Cain in on his legacy.

I think Fedor is the GOAT (based on legacy and resume) but I actually do think prime Cain would beat him.

The big problem imo is that Cain didn't fight a big variety of guys in his prime so it's harder to judge and when somebody is unbeaten or looks unbeatable it's easier to think they will be favourite. And he did get kinda rocked against Kongo if my memory serves me well. Maybe he just looked good against JDS and Bigfoot and he wasn't allround enough to be a dominant force for a long time. Sadly we'll never find out.

The last stretch here is going to be JDS getting in "his best shape ever" and fighting at 205 where he "feels better than he has in years" and then getting KO'd by Ed Herman.

Deep down you know it's coming.

Shut your dirty mouth.

make 205 happen with JDS vs his slightly older better twin Glover

So how much does it hurt today?
As any JDS fan would feel. A little bummed but it is what it is. The better fighter won. Silver lining is theres some new blood for the HW division which it desperately needs. Gane has the tools to be elite and I'm looking forward to his next fight.
