Do u guys think Glover will survive the onslaught?

Hand squeezed 10 pineapples and the skins I got a gallon and a half of juice.

Made a gallon of the alcohol, and drank the rest of the juice lol.
Nice, did you do tepache or use the juice to flavor something?

Glover is a specialist at getting beaten up, then take down to RNC. So I'll say yes.

I hope so. I like Jiri and I think he is bringing a much needed dynamic and personality to the 205 div but I want Glover to win this fight.

So I took the gallon of juice, and out it in a glass gallon jug.
I put almost a whole bag of sugar and a packet of yeast.

Put the airlock on, but little did I know the fuckin foam comes for like 4 days lol.

I let it go through the airlock till it stopped.
Cleaned it all off.
Added some nutrients and some yeast and sugar.

Let it go until the airlock stopped bubbling (about 4-6 weeks) and strained it like 5 times through a fine mesh bag.

Bottled it, and there it is.

tepache is something you do in like 3-4 days using the peel as a yeast.

Mine was much stronger.

why is Jiri is only fighting once a year ?
Taking the fights he was offered. Also waited for his shot once it was given. I think he will be a lot more active win or lose this fight. If he loses I would like to see him and Anthony Smith or Paul Craig

I'm done counting out Glover.

He seems very vulnerable standing against someone like Jiri but he just needs to get him down and pummel his ass. He can definitely get the job done.

Yea I can’t help but think all the way back to Gane’s loss from five minutes ago for a path to victory against an excellent striker.

This fight is a classic example of the avenue to the underdog’s victory being obvious yet under-discussed because it’s kinda boring (and not what most are hoping to see).

Jiri uses a lot of explosive movements, which (i) cause fatigue and (ii) leave openings for takedowns. Jiri has never been to particularly deep waters and he’s certainly never been there in a grueling grappling-heavy match.

Glover knows what he’s doing on the ground. He’ll look for those wild attacking motions from Jiri for a window to grab onto him and drag him down. Several minutes carrying Glover’s weight and defending himself and Jiri won’t stand up the same fighter.

I’m not going to predict a Glover win necessarily. He’s old and slow and could get put on a poster within 2 minutes. But this looks like a classic situation to throw a small number of units on “boring” bets like over X rounds Glover to win.
Yeah. Glover is a master at fatiguing his opponents, we saw that vs Anthony smith and his most recent bout against Jan. When he gets these guys down who prefer to strike, even if they get out of the round they might as well just call it right then and there because when they get up the dudes are gassed, exhausted, and you can usually see it on their face that it’s done. It becomes a matter of “when”, not “if” they will get finished.

That being said Jiri is arguably the best offensive striker at LHW right now. So glover has to be exceptionally careful. He can take hits, but if jiri lands a full combo, or some nasty power shots it’s gonna look grim.

We’ve seen plenty of striker vs grappler matchups. But this once is exceptionally volatile because both guys are so effective at causing damage in their area of expertise.

Thanks Sherbro, I like it.

Her name is Harnaam Kaur, and she has a medical condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (POS), which causes a hormonal imbalance and excess body hair. She is what is sometimes called a "bearded lady" and she's actually pretty cool. I like her attitude.

Nope, but I have no issue with being proved wrong here.

Much luv fer Glover.

Glover is very durable aside from Rumble he has never been knocked out cold. He can definitely beat Jiri and Rakic. Those two have no TDD. His toughest matchup would be Ankalaev

Yeah thats the thing. It seems like a lot of fans don't really know much about Glover. Even in his victory over Jan, it all started with a left. Jan never really recovered from it

He was winning the stand up against Smith as well before taking him down

It was a long time ago but Glover also hit Jones hard more than a few times. Of course Jones was blessed with a great chin and hard head so it didn't work out for Glover in that fight. Jiri seems to have a good chin but certainly not on Jones level.

Well, it's like my grandmother always told me: Everything is a dildo if you're brave enough.

So let's see how brave he is.

yes, i think there's a decent chance. old man is tough. he'll either get ko'ed or sub tf out of jiri

Love Jiri, picking him to win, but I'm done doubting Glover. If he takes it to the mat he's a monster there.

I like how you're trying to spin the narrative that Rumble back in, you know, 2016, is "poor, sick" when that's a recent problem.
I’m being sympathetic towards him that’s all brother

Who is Glover fighting next ? :) ?

You train technique not strength. It takes discipline and control to train with someone who’s a much smaller weight class. But experienced and classy fighters who know how to separate technique from strength can learn a lot from being open minded and working with the small guys who have a much deeper talent pool.
And Henry has more of a coaching/tactics/gameplanning role than just a training partner. When he talks in the gym, people listen.

No he can't but let's just hope he doesn't have to. Hate to see Glover being KTFO. Dude's too good of a guy.
But would like to see Jiri as a champ as well, so, don't know.
