Do u guys think Glover will survive the onslaught?

Jiris chin is not that impressive either, his leg went semi stanky in his last fight. Glover got retarded hands
theres a chance he could clip him
This.

A lot of people underestimating Glovers striking. I love Jiri’s style but he’s pretty reckless, not so obvious who wins the standup exchanges.

Its very likely, Jiri isn't a one punch KO artist like Crumble Johnson and in the meantime Glover will pull the takedown and I don't think Jiri will surivive.

I would love to see Jiri as a champ but I'm pretty confident Glover will win.

Nice av, name?
Thanks Sherbro, I like it.

Her name is Harnaam Kaur, and she has a medical condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (POS), which causes a hormonal imbalance and excess body hair. She is what is sometimes called a "bearded lady" and she's actually pretty cool. I like her attitude.

After Gus and poor sick Rumble broke his chin, can he survive another rampage assault, especially from the Viking?

Glover has a great possibility in taking him down imo so he may pull it off. But other than that, I see him holding on then getting tko'd but glover's experience may help him endure a storm in the stand up and luckily land something. Jiri can get caught with his style but I do think Glover has a chance at putting Jiri in a bad situation during the fight.

Yeah thats the thing. It seems like a lot of fans don't really know much about Glover. Even in his victory over Jan, it all started with a left. Jan never really recovered from it

He was winning the stand up against Smith as well before taking him down

It's very difficult to say "yes I suspect that 76 year old man will survive enough to implement his game". Yet I kinda think he will. I think Jiri being a wildman will work against him in this fight.

He could get knocked out any moment...but If Glover can somehow clinch, he could sub just about anybody...

you can see Alex Pereira's influence in his striking

I have a feeling in this fight Jiri might actually be quite a lot less aggressive personally, watch something like his rematch with Mo in Rizin and you can see he is capable of fighting int hat fashion.

I suspect Jiri knew that going to war in his previous fights was a good way to get a title shot but actually fighting for the belt I wouldnt be supprised if he's a bit more careful.

They make some of the best farmhouse ales in the world. It's a tiny little place in the middle of nowhere. Really cool place to visit if you get the chance.

Very cool sir.
I just made pineapple alcohol here at the house for Christmas gifts.
Came out really good, or so everyone has told me.
I tried a sip it was pretty decent.

Not bad for a guy that don't drink.

You train technique not strength. It takes discipline and control to train with someone who’s a much smaller weight class. But experienced and classy fighters who know how to separate technique from strength can learn a lot from being open minded and working with the small guys who have a much deeper talent pool.
Yeah, I bet that's tough because I would want to just pick him up and throw him out of the cage

Glover is grossly underrated here. Sure, Jiri has the ability to KO anyone, Glover included. But Glover has really solid stand up and power to go with his great ground game.

Jiri is very wild and unpredictable, and has his fair share of near KO moments himself. Thinking about it, much of what we love about Jiri is his ability to comeback after being hurt through the fire of wild exchanges when his opponents are trying to finish. If Glover catches Jiri with something, he's finishing by dragging Jiri to the ground and subbing him, not through a follow up striking exchange.

Jiri's great and all, but Glover needs a lot more hespect.

Lmao. Yeah I’ve heard a lot of guys say that. Unfortunately for a lot of these guys who are HW and LHW you have to really show that you can be responsible. If you don’t then you’re only fucking yourself. I know a lot of the regional guys, especially HW, they can’t always find great training partners at their weight class unless they’re already established names. So sometimes the only way the get in good grappling and sparring is by really showing control and making sure that their partners don’t feel like they will get hurt because they’re being muscled around

If he gets a TD he can win any fight in the division.

Yea I can’t help but think all the way back to Gane’s loss from five minutes ago for a path to victory against an excellent striker.

This fight is a classic example of the avenue to the underdog’s victory being obvious yet under-discussed because it’s kinda boring (and not what most are hoping to see).

Jiri uses a lot of explosive movements, which (i) cause fatigue and (ii) leave openings for takedowns. Jiri has never been to particularly deep waters and he’s certainly never been there in a grueling grappling-heavy match.

Glover knows what he’s doing on the ground. He’ll look for those wild attacking motions from Jiri for a window to grab onto him and drag him down. Several minutes carrying Glover’s weight and defending himself and Jiri won’t stand up the same fighter.

I’m not going to predict a Glover win necessarily. He’s old and slow and could get put on a poster within 2 minutes. But this looks like a classic situation to throw a small number of units on “boring” bets like over X rounds Glover to win.
