I'd never really thought of it but probably so. It's worse if you are getting older and starting to have some gripping issues like I think I am. I drop my phone all the time, without the protective shit i'd have to replace it every couple weeks.

Fortunately, I don't like having a phone, only need it for apps/work mainly, other than that, I hate cell phones even though they are necessary for so many things.

One time I soaked my iphone and ruined it then got a cheap replacement the next day but it didn’t use the same case and I dropped that phone and broke the screen the first day. Fuckin slippery phones.
