Do sherdoggers like/dislike Nate Diaz?

Although I personally think him keeping it “real” a lot of the time is just him being unprofessional or disrespectful. However I understand that it’s probably his brothers influence that causes that.

You never know bro, allegedly Nate Diaz fans claim he is a 5 round come back fighters
(never won in the 5th round in his career or won a decision in a 5 round fight) a 10 fight round against Usman? Jesus Nate Diaz would be unstoppable.
 
I like him for the drama he brings around an event.
Other than that... I think he sucks ass.
I don't like the fact he never accepts a loss and acts like a massive baby every time he loses, which is often.
Just accept it bruh.
Also don't think he's a very good fighter regardless,
He's a high volume, low power puncher, with shit punching form... doesn't kick... I know his grappling is high and people love how much punishment he can take because it produces blood and violence which we all want, but, I don't respect a fighter with such poor timing and with no defensive skills. It's not cool to get punched in the head 100 times, he's just gonna get brain damage, nice work bro! You're so cool!

He’s a goofball but I like him.
 
Nate Diaz is an awesome fighter. He has good boxing and can catch guys in subs. He has a crazy chin and will take the fight into deep waters everytime. Huge fan of the Diaz bros and just because they're not the GOATs or whatever doesn't mean I can't be a fan lol. Nate comes for war which I respect and I went to high school in California in his region. Just because a fighter has lost and isnt the GOAT doesn't mean they don't deserve fans. Smoking weed is amazing too haha.
 
Love him, always have. Shows up for war every fight and has paid his dues in a very unforgiving sport. I'm glad he's made his money and can now pick who he wants to fight. He deserves it. The anger it creates in "fans" is hilarious.

I hope he finishes out his contract, gets a couple of fun boxing matches in, and calls it a day.

Because they know the dude doesnt quit,and laughs in the face of death. RDA kicked his leg so bad he stood on one leg and fliipped RDA off. People love that shit...thats what they paid to see. His pain tolerance is off the charts.
 
Great, exciting, fun fighters. Both of them had numerous great fights. They were both usually always in the top ten and had some legitimate title chances.

Fan. I hung out with him and his brother at ski beach on the delta in Discovery Bay before I even followed the UFC. They were laid back and cool as shit. I had no clue they were fighters then. I found out later who they were and was shocked. They never gave off that badass vibe, I think Shields was there too. Back then you always pictured a fighter to look like Tank or Kimo. I'll always be a fan of the Diaz Bros.

Lol the whole point was McGregor fans saw him lose and adjusted their expectations for him accordingly, hardcore Diaz fans see Nate lose over and over and still think he can beat Leon Edwards lol.

Please tell me one crazy bad take from me on Conor though, I feel like you just vaguely remember me saying something you perceived as positive and label me a crazy Conor fan. I'm not saying I've never been a fan at all, but I usually try to be unbiased, and realistic about him, most criticisms people have about him I agree with.

A lot of you guys do this on Sherdog, if you defend the UFC at all, at any time, you're a UFC shill, if you say anything positive about Conor ever you're a crazy Conor fan, etc. Just make whatever point you're trying to make, don't try to exaggerate my point of view on something to discredit any take I have on it.

"Can"? Of course he can. He's obviously not the favorite though by any means. This is the problem with people who live in absolutes and don't understand what's being said.

And no, Conor fans have not adjusted their expectations. Go look at the predictions for Poirier 3.
