Do sherdoggers like/dislike Nate Diaz?

I have been a fan of Nate's since I saw him fight Hermes Franca for a belt when he was just a kid. I have also been a fan of Nick's since his UFC debut. Both are very cool dudes, and Sherdog historically has loved them both. The complaining and posturing has gotten a little old, but I still respect both of them tremendously. I loved watching them fight when they were hungry. It isn't the same now, but I still enjoy watching them fight. I would love to see them both get out of their UFC contracts so they can get some of that Jake Paul money.

I like Nate Diaz as a fighter and a person, but he can be frustrating at times and I'm not down with the vegan stuffs.

For someone that never fights he gets a ridiculous amount of threads and is constantly being talked about for potential fights/opponents. I have no clue wtf TS is talking about.

We are always talking about Joe Rogans height, Chimaev beating everyone and debating Fedor. Hardly see any Nate Diaz talk, he's one of the most popular fighters.
Hard not to appreciate Nick as a fighter over his career. But he is a diva and has been for years, with a fanbase that will excuse everything he does.

Guy is tough as nails. What more do you want? Every fight is in is exciting, no wrestling dry hump shit.

Plenty of tough and exciting guys out there, he really seems to get more attention than most though

neither

overrated as a fighter but underrated too
remember when all the cans thought cerrone was gonna do something to him... all nate had to do was flick his cowboy hat off & cerrone broke mentally before he got into the ring

I respect his skills, he has like no legit power or strength but utilizes his endurance, timing, and durability very well. His MMA boxing is very underrated. His BJJ is top notch.

As a complete striker he isn't that good, but you can't underestimate him at ANY point of a fight, just ask Leon Scott who was doing the chicken dance in the last minute of a fight he was winning.

I could watch him spam 1-2s all day, it's beautiful watching him have those moments like he did fighting Leon Edwards even if he doesn't win. Always wondered how he's so accurate with them though

He also inspired me to take my cardio seriously even though I'm not an athlete

I've never been a diaz fan, but I like Nate better than I like Nick.

I just wish he’d fought more

can't say I've ever been much of a fan, but it's oddly inspiring to see an utter mediocrity rise to the level of stardom that he has achieved. And I'm not sure anyone else could replicate that if they tried
