Do people get some sense of moral superiority when they go against the "that was a boring fight" crowd?

1) Khamzat has elite wrestling/grappling

2) DDP's wrestling was cheeks

3) That wasn't a fun fight to watch, probably one of the most boring fights I've seen.

When 'fans' say go watch kickboxing, you don't know anything about MMA, it's 'mixed' martial arts not boxing, you don't appreciate the art of wrestling etc do they look down upon others who say the fight wasn't a barnburner like they're some peasants and that they're some sort of fighting connoisseurs?

DDP had the striking advantage and Hamzat did what he had to and not make it a striking match. Theres nothing wrong.

I'd been anticipating this fight for months

It was ass and I spent most of round 4 and 5 on my phone

And I really like both fighters

Not Khamzats fault that DDPs wrestling was hilariously bad. But also disappointed in the "smesh" guy for trying to gently hug him to death with the occasional pity tap. To have that much domination for that long and never look like doing anything with it... yeh, fair play took the safe option. We don't have to like it.

It was boring. DDP fought like shit. Khamzat ragdolling a guy that accomplished is still impressive. That said, the card was excellent overall.

i missed the prelims but this was one of the most boring cards I have seen and I have seen hundreds.

Khamzat could’ve done anything to DDP on the ground and instead chose to just lay on him. If he subbed DDP, the boos would’ve disappeared.

Can’t blame people for not wanting to watch 5 rounds of someone maintaining position/control.

If anything it's mostly DDP's fault for having such a dumpster fire level wrestling.

Eh... I think this card really delivered overall, so it's fine.
