I gotta say I watched this video and found it laughable to say the least.
Now shying away from the glaring accusations that could be made, I think it's pretty silly of israel adesanya to speak with such bold ignorance.
For one he's claiming that "if nigerians decided to hit mma hard, it's game over for everyone" theres a huge issue with that though.
I think alot of people foreign to united states soil don't quite understand the reason why united states citizens aren't dominating fighting anymore. We simply on a large scale do not participate in fighting like we used to, because we have three HUGE markets in the united states that are econimically on par with or bigger than any international sports market, and that's just on a domestic scale alone, on our soil. That is the NBA, NFL, and MLB.
Kids in the united states don't grow up with dreams of becoming a prized fighter lol, for the last several decades here in the united states the youth has dreamt of being big time defensive line men, running backs, point gaurds, pitchers etc for the most lucrative markets in sports globally, these three organizations literally have teams handing multi million dollar contracts out of college to the best young athleetes they can find, that's thousands of our athletes per year being swallowed up by the mainstream network of conglomerate business called the united states sports circut.
From youth we literally push our kids to get in to these organizations, not have the broken life of a fighter on the local scene. They are groomed for this and even get recruited for college specifically for those sports. The only combat and I use the term combat loosely, sport that gives any united states citizen college incentive is wrestling, a sport that just behind japan, we've won the most olympic metals in the last 10 years lol.
When you have a modern top teir united staes athelete who takes any form of fighting or combat sports seriously you get unstopable guys like
Jon Jones Bo Knickle Floyd Mayweather Daniel Comrier, Caels Anderson, Dan Gable etc etc
my point is don't get too cocky, you're only doing as well as you are because most men from the united states have been opting out for more lucrative ventures with more pussy and glory
