It's been a while and he hasn't come back yet. He made a lot of money, hes never defended a belt. Thats why i entertain the idea that hes not coming back (assuming he'd be defending his title). Am I missing something? Why do you say it is clear he is coming back when he has been making ambiguous statements about a potential return? Is he signed to fight someone? Has there been some new development I'm unaware of? I don't buy the whole "offered to fight edgar" thing.

After his UFC debut it was a joke. He was gonna be the best ever and win every belt. He was a meme.

But I guess some people didn’t get the joke and now some people believe it.

Yeah I have no idea who is joking and who is serious when it comes to Conor. The meme has blended with reality in a weird way.

Casual fans have no idea of his antics apart from what gets reported. I've seen and talked to multiple people who've said how excited they are for Connor/Diaz 3, that's still the biggest fight that can be made for him and the only one the casuals care about.
