Wanting to fight Frankie was BS. Frankie was literally begging for an opponent on social media 6 weeks ago. Where was McGregor then? It wasn't until Frankie locked down a fight with Ortega that McGregor said anything. If McGregor would have made his intentions known publicly when Frankie was begging for an opponent the fans would have demanded the fight be made.

Just because someone says they did something doesn't mean it's true. The UFC sold over a million ppv and had like 11 days to promote Nate vs McGregor. They could have made more money with 5 weeks of promotion and a fight between Frankie and McGregor. Unless McGregor was asking for an astronomical purse (and I acknowledge he might have) money shouldn't have been an issue.
