What a horrendous take on Oliveira as a fighter.
Usman is a very dominant grappler as well, but it makes for boring fights. Ex vs Masvidal, that was not an exciting foot stomp performance, you can love watching someone dominantly control someone all you want, but people pay to see damage otherwise they are never celebrated as a dominant champion. It's a violent sport, grappaling without damage is just wrestling, bjj... that's not what people pay to see.Nothing was lame about that performance, if you are too stupid to understand grappling maybe this sport isn’t for you..
Just admit you were wrong on the overrated part and move along. Nothing worse than someone that shifts the goal posts instead of admitting they were wrong.
https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/do-bronx-is-overrated.4151336/I said I underestimated his ability to hold people down... This implies my earlier belief was inaccurate
Tony was the one holding on and just trying to hold on long enough to get a stand-upOk besides the sub attempt. The guy just put Tony's legs behind his head and pinned him down all match.

Considering Do Bronx's finish rate in recent years, it's ridiculous to suggest he would "lame" his way to a title.
Aren't you the guy who was want islam vs charles?I underestimated the degree to which Do Bronx could lame the opposition with his grappling /JJ. He can take a top tier fighter and just put him on his back and keep him there, albeit while not doing any damage.
I don't know who else in the top 5 who could deal with his grappling. Maybe Hooker, good striking and he's huge for a LW, hard to take down. Poirier is real scrappy but he got handled by Khabib on the ground. Def not Gaethje, his JJ is kindergarten tier. Conor can put Charles' lights out but I fear he might get lamed as well.
What do you think?
