I have no journalism background but the internet and easy web design gives us all the power to become local journalists and publish our news. It's something I've even thought but abandoned because I don't have the time to learn how to do it right. But if you have the education...maybe it's an easier path for you.

That said, I think the hyperbolic criticism towards Trump is actually helping him. He's running largely on a platform of being an outsider and not the same old shit, and the left is criticizing him for basically being an outsider and not the same old shit.
