Who in your opinion do you think the most disrespectful fighter is and who is the most respectful?
I know there is alot of respect from most fighters in the UFC, but you don't see much disrepect before the fights or after the fights unless, someone does something ignorant or pushes a fighters wrong button.

Curious about some people's answers and feedback about this.

Respectful: Rich Franklin
Disrespectful: Krazy Horse Bennett - Paul Daley

Most respectful - Shogun/GSP

Most disrespectful - Nick Diaz/Anderson

Imagine if all guys in the UFC were like GSP and Rich Franklin? Very classy and respectful. How do you think the UFC would hype fights? If everyone was like that then it would seem kind of boring. That's why I like guys like Bisping, Chael and Prime UFC BJ Penn. They make fights more exciting and interesting by the way they sort of 'disrespect' their opponents prior to their fights. Point is somewhere, somehow, one fighter should act as the bad guy to make a great/interesting fight

dumb thread, even the guys who go out of their way to be disrespectful usually wind up havinga hug out with their opponent at the end. And who is the most respectful? who cares??

Most respectful: Stipe Miocic

Most Disrespectful: David "Tank" Abbot

Respectful GSP, Jon Bones Jones, Mcgregor, and Shogun
Disrespectful Reem, Diaz, Bisping and Penn

I doubt that he is disrespectful all the time but "that kick" Manny Gamburyan threw was disgusting.

Chan Sung Jung, Okami, Fedor, Franklin, Le... Etc, all very respectful.

disrespectful- any of those ****s that bring family into it. even randy.

I rate him as a legend, but even if Titos missus is a porn actress, i wouldnt go there in a trash talk.

Also, anyone who takes drugs.

Nice topic.

Let me see...

There are MANY respectful fighters.

Rich franklin, GSP, Machida, Fedor, etc.
But Cro Cop is one I'd point out as my choice. I mean, who does not recall the interview in which he was about to fight Big Nog, and a presenter said some disparaging comment about Nog, and Cro Cop had none of it!
And that was during a time where MMA was a "macho" thing! he could have remained quiet, but instead chose to defend the guy he was about to fight!
I salute you, sir!!!

here's the video (unfortunately, i don't have one with subtitles, but I know they are out there:

As for disrespect, there are (unfortunately) also plenty.
But I would point out the guy who made this his whole persona, and unfortunately showed the way to many who are copying him in order to become relevant through insults rather than through fighting.
Chael P. Sonnen. Shame on you, sir!

Go talk to these ''humble'' fighters when they're in the gym without camera's and you will get a different answer from most of them about their opponents.

People don't know that Mousasi is actually quite ''confident'' of camera in a way that would be considered ''cocky and arrogant'' on sherdog.

Just one example

Wrong, it makes the anticipation for the fight more exciting. It does f**k-all for the fight itself.

Respectful : GSP, Johny Hendricks, Shogun, Cro Cop

Disrespectful: Diaz Brothers, Anderson Silva, Rampage

I like this topic, there are a bunch of guys that are very humble, respectful fighters.

GSP, JDS, CroCop, Rich Franklin, Brian Stann, Tim Kennedy, Condit

Then there are guys that are "self-promoters" that run their mouth to sell tickets or are just arrogant, pompous jerks it just comes off as disrespectful and it really bugs me

Diaz Brothers, Rashad, Hughes, Jones, Tito, Couture (met him in person he's one of the biggest jerks I have ever met), Bisping, Shamrock, Frye

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, and then there is Chael who I clasify in a league all his own. What Chael says comes off as disrespectful but I can't help but find him humerous in the way he promotes himself and his fights, he's so over the top I don't see it so much as being arrogant or a jerk like when Tito runs his mouth. Chael to me is a humerous, intelligent, self promoter and while he is probably clasified as disrespectful but most for whatever reason I just find him humerous.

Okami comes to mind as one of the most respectful fighters for sure.
