Her firing was BS.

The holocaust is trivialized and inappropriately analogized every day by everybody who has a gripe in politics.

But Disney had let Pascal misappropriate the holocaust and use far more purple language just a few weeks before. So only certain people are allowed to trivialize the holocaust. Which is why her case was a good one and why they paid and promised her work.

She is a terrible actress though and she isn’t attractive anymore. So woke backfires again

I think the comments are just observational. She's clearly not in "Haywire" shape, and the only reason she ever got work in Hollywood was because of her looks, and that's where the "looking forward to working on a project in the future" retorts are coming from. She's still got a moist hole and a pretty face, and most men would definitely fuck her if given the opportunity. The two things aren't related, though.

I’m not surprised to see them settle. Had this gone all the way to trial I’m absolutely sure that Disney would have won, but it would have been a real airing of dirty laundry for them to get to that point such that it would have been a pyrrhic victory. They would be forced to answer difficult questions like why the apparent double standards for what Pedro Pascal can say and why Gina Carano cannot. Best case scenario they’re forced to publicly admit a political bias in favour of liberals over conservatives. Worst case scenario they’re forced to admit that they don’t actually give a fuck about liberal political causes either and are just blatantly pandering to one side to manipulate their consumers.

The only surprising thing is that the settlement involves a public commitment of the parties saying they’ll work together on future projects. That was not on my bingo card at all.
