Dirtiest Tactic Seen in Modern UFC?

Whoever grappler who purposefully doesn't take a shower in all of fight week just to get an advantage.

It's a decent tactic though. In a grueling fight where im getting outgrappled, tired as fuck while getting beaten on while the other guy smells like shit, tapping out is more of an option

Miesha legit accused Ronda of this, she said she stinks during a fight lol

Not the dirtiest but I didn’t like when Fedor grabbed the ropes to stop Lindlands takedown.

Wandy Silva made a career outta holding the ropes in Pride.

The front knee strikes, while apparently legal, are so fucked up and dirty. Can easily put someone out for over a year, or completely ruin their career, by blasting them in the knees.

We need to adjust the ruleset, this should be the equivalent of tapping

I was thinking a straight DQ, but that makes the win seem a little less legit

You mean Yoel following BJM's instructions to sit on the stool? Or do you mean Kennedy grabbing Yoel's gloves preventing him from blocking and landing damaging strikes because of it?

I can link BJM saying Yoel did absolutely nothing wrong and was just following his directions.
I will never understand how he got to wear a green beret.

DC gouging Stipe eyes so bad he needed surgery. Lost a lot of respect for DC after that.
DC's eye was pretty messed up in the 3rd fight too iirc, not sure if serious damage was actually done.

Actually, when I saw this I thought that Jones was really a fighting genius. Dunno why this technique is forgotten, because it looks pretty effective.
idk but in the gif it looks more unintentional than I recalled during the fight. Regardless, the eye pokes he did on Glover were atrocious.

He entered through the national guard iirc. Guys that enter SF through the reserves or guard are switched to active duty if they make it . I know he has a reputation of being a dick in the SF Groups. He's a typical gym bully He's hurt more than a few soliders in hand to hand combat training and had to be reprimanded for it.

With all that said he's a top notch operator and probably could've joined CAG (combat application group, the unit, delta force, etc) if he didn't pursue a fighting career.

But this is the same guy who staged a break in at his house to promote his security system. So make up your own mind.

Funny tidbit. He's wife was Chuck Liddell's ex wife. I think Chuck's daughter actually lives with him but don't quote me on that.

forgot about this one, yea dirty as fuck
It's that dirty of just instinctual?

It's not Aldo's job to not grab the fence. It's the ref's job to catch, prevent and punish the actions deemed against the rules.

It's a standing americana. Savage but is and should be perfectly legal. Glover could have tapped but he's a warrior.

I'm not a big fan of footstomps. Valid technique I guess, but just seems to lack integrity to me.

To me a lack of integrity is not allowing someone to soccer kick, stomp or knee a downed opponent. It would change the nature of the beast so much.

The foot stomps? Seems weird given they don’t allow PRYING fingers. A foot stomp can do crazy damage if landed properly.
