No tracking to divulge, but the weekend's been fucking great.

With emphasis on "fucking". I must have crammed out about half a gallon of cum the last few days. My body composition has improved greatly over the past year, and I've received quite a few compliments in conjunction with the aforementioned adventures. I'd also like to give a shout-out to jelqing and prostate drainage. /toomuchinfo

Jelqing, goddamn, thought that had been disproved as BS a while back.

Man, I've already got a lifting schedule, a BJJ schedule and an eating schedule. Do I really want to be programming progressive overload for my dick?

Creating a deficit because I'mma go fuckin bonkers at the chinese buffet on Thursday. On a sidenote I've formulated a new stage-goal in my life: reach the point of complete financial independence where I am able to live off of liquid savings alone for the rest of my studies if things go pear-shaped and I lose ALL my sources of income. That point should be reached in 15 months.

Then new guitar time?

I have serious PRS GAS at the minute :(

Serious off-topic ranting

In either case I'll treat myself to one at graduation, hehe. I've done some honest introspection on my instrumental needs and found out I've got no need whatsoever for more than seven strings on the guitar, and five on the bass at most. I dicked around with a four-string Warwick Streamer LX a while back and was surprised how much more comfortable and faster it felt than my "35 broadneck Ibby five-string. Kinda makes you think how much you really need that extra range (and scale length) when comfortability comparatively suffers that much. That becomes even more pronounced with eight-string guitars.

I've never gotten into PRS's - much like Fender-basses, I just don't gel with them. I've gone mad with Warwicks and Onis though, and it sure as fuck doesn't help that Warwick's created a new german production line of instruments, and that Dan of Oni Guitars has expressed interest in manufacturing more traditional six-string in-stocks. Been thinking about picking up a six-string guitar or two to dick around with other tunings apart from standard (Drop D/C/B, BF#BF#BF#, DADGAD, all fifths...). I realise it's much better logistically to just get a production guitar, and that I still haven't laid a hand on an Oni in person, but the GAS I have for those things is br

I've always fancied having a bass in my rack just for messing around on plus for any demo recording.

Tried an Ibanez 8 string the other week, neck was just a little big for me. Loving my 7 at the moment. Plus for anything different i have 6 6's in my collection for different tunings/sounds. Been messing around in Open C a bit lately too (Blame Devy for that haha).

I don't think a seven string would be an easy transition, 8 string seems like it would be too muddy and you would lose a lot of clarity and lose the function of the bass guitar.

It's nice having more than one guitar so you aren't always switching tuning between songs. I'm pretty meat and potatoes with my tuning; standard, flat, down 1 step, occasional drop d.

You motherfucker. At least I feel better about my own GAS - I'd probably settle for two sixers! (Though feel free to check in about five years and hold me accountable to this statement!)

Another fellow gear-head? I'm liking you more and more, homes.
Yeah I've yet to hear an eight-string guitar in person that actually sounded decent, but then again factory setups tend to be ass, so that's a bit moot. Still, even the "29.4-scale of the Ibanez M80M had a marked tension-drop on the low F. Personally I find seven-strings to be the perfect number - six-strings feel like toys, eight-strings are too much - but then again I've been playing sevens for basically my entire guitar-"career".

I've only played 7 string a few times, scales are hard for me with the extra string and I've got tiny hands. I do like that low end though.
