Sort of. It's a byproduct of trying to keep my hunger in check - if I went freestyling through the day I'd top 5000kcal plus without even trying. Cramming all the food down in two or three big meals keeps the sweet tooth somewhat at bay.

I was on my way to a good cutoff when I was gonna prepare the persimons I got dirt cheap. They were all over-ripe, so keeping them as snacks was out of the question. I got the idea to make a scramble with the persimons and a couple pf bananas, sprinkled with cinnamon. I sliced it all up and put em in a saucepan with some water lining the bottom, and heated the concoction up while successively mashing everything up with a fork. As I tasted it off, my head went "dude, there is no way this will taste better when you pull it out of a thermos lukewarm tomorrow".



So I ate it all.

Looks like canned dog food but anything sweet with cinnamon has to be at least tolerable.

Weight: 89.9kg. New low point!

Despite my best efforts I wasnt even "empty" at the above weight, so that feels good. Unfortunately my performance today took a hit - dont know whether that can be attributed to a very late first meal or something else. Gotta start eating at a small surplus on top of my daily projected TDEE, which should look something like this:

Stay-at-home-day: ~2600kcal
Round-trip to campus-day: ~3100kcal
Gym-day: ~4000kcal

Tag another hundred or two on top of that for a surplus when desired.

Alright. I've had serious sleeping problems the past week, and I'm well on my way to slipping into a depression. There's a myriad of interconnected factors at play - moving to a new town, my residential situation, the academic curriculum, organising everyday-tasks, pressuring myself to attain results in the gym, overanalysing social contexts - all of which maybe is caused or exacerbated by the fact that I've basically been eating either at a deficit or hovering at maintenance for almost seven months, which quite possibly has started to fuck with my hormonal profile. I dont know exactly what's causing this negative spiral, but I have to start changing things to get out of this dark cloud.
 
Gonna combat my sleeping issues by having my last meal quite some time before bed-time, popping zinc and magnesium at night and by meditating as well.
