• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. It's probably a way to make people notice that they left, like slamming the door on your way out ; others also ask, because they want to hear people telling them how important they are to this place. Then, some people actually need this, because they just can't leave by themselves (they literally could, but they're hooked) but they feel that spending 20 hours a day on a forum is unhealthy.

As for @StonedLemur , he's a grown man, and I know that he'll be fine without Sherdog, he's not the kind to stay idle, I think. We'll probably miss him more than he misses that forum. I'm sad that he chose to leave.

Then, calling him a moron who acted without thinking wasn't necessary. I think I don't need to spell out why this is a bit ironic given the circumstances.

So you backtrack on what has obviously been a bad idea from the start but somehow still blame those who didnt comply? Not nice, forum administration.
If you want people not to post banned info/pictures/videos, premoderation is the only effective way, not the 2FA.

Did you expect any different? The mods and admins here were losing their minds when people ripped on the awful site redesign (which should be the next thing rolled back). They'll probably try to implement 2FA again in the future once the criticism dies down but this time they'll just auto ban anyone who dares question such a colossally dumb move.

We realized that it would be better for everyone to try these other fixes first, with 2FA a final tool at our disposal if absolutely necessary.


We should note: it is possible that we will need to push a one-time only password reset on accounts. It is an option we have considered, depending on how the other tweaks and alterations go.


Anyone who freaked out about the initial announcement and suicided their accounts will not have them restored. That's on you.


I want to again thank the forum staff for working hard on this ordeal with me, and to you, the community, thank you for being patient as we work on this.

Same here. Had to log back in and 2 step verify on both and phone and PC.

Guess people who already set it up are stuck with it?

Once u enable it unless you disable it you'll still have to do that.
