Difference in WWF and WCW Jack Powerbomb

I keep up with what's going on but I'm not watching every minute by any means. These days I tend to watch the bigger matches and mostly fast forward thru the filler lol.

Tangent, and I've told the story here before so not going to get into the full thing again, but I met Nash and Goldberg once after a show in 96 or 97, was peak NWO at the time.

Nash was super cool to us, had no reason to give us the time he did, he actually initiated from his rental car as we crossed the street. Dude was freaking HUGE, and I was 6'4" at the time, made me feel tiny lol.

Goldberg was nice, also huge, but Nash really went out of his way to give us a cool memory.

I think Goldberg was over powered too fast. Nash was fun. I think his best was wwf. He got lazy with money but always a fan. I think triple H is WWEs Goldberg. Gifted too much too soon. The gift W on Goldberg was lame.

Nash is my favorite. Hall too. I could careless for hogan. He was a diva. The racism is not surprising.

WCW Monday night wars was fun. I miss it. I am curious where things go now. I'm curious with triple H holding down the fort.

If I watched anymore I would be annoyed by everyone doing others finishers and not even a pin fall attempt.

I am curious if anybody could make a successful crossover to ufc?

Finishers nowadays are still protected. I think it’s nostalgia talking. Maybe not to the extent of the DDT or Camel Clutch or Hulk Leg Drop in the 80s, but it’s big thing for a Honda armbar or even RKO to fail.

I see everyone doing other people's moves. I notice that the older Gen gets pissed off when someone Jack's their move poorly and doesn't ask.

The power bomb and DDT used to be epic. These are done several times in a match. It was mostly certain guys who executed it in a epic manner that scores a pin now.

Sure people copy finishers. But once you get the rub you can get protection and nobody is copying a RKO or a People’s Elbow if they want a job.

Getting to that point is difficult is my point. Jericho was pissed people stole his moves. So you can get to the top and then get ripped off on your way out or as aged out.

Were they stealing them in the WWE?

I mean that was always the rule. NWA guys would also fuck you up if they had the rub and heard about. But if you're Wild Bill McCarthy you're not getting your Wildman finisher protected in 1976.

I liked Vader, Sid, Nash doing variations of the power bomb. Sid had stranger variations during the early 90s. Vader had a awkward powerbomb in wcw no clue why he did a stupid splash in wwf? I loved the jacknife power bomb.

Today, there's no respect. Bombs are done like a punch. Everyone is doing everybody's move. I remember Scott Norton tried doing a jacknife and him and Nash had heat. I don't get it.

Nobody's doing a people's elbow or whatever but it's still weak.
