Probably old news, but new to me. Diego Brandao (6-4 UFC) was recently released from UFC. Very fast, aggressive, exciting. Where should he end up?
 
I'd like to see him in OneFC. I don't think he has enough name power to interest Bellator.
 
Bellator or WSOF. They should feed him their gatekeepers and then give him a title fight.
 
I remember that one time he threatened to stab Poirier at the weigh ins and Poirier then knocked him out in the fight.

He should go to ONE.

He doesn't have enough name value for Bellator to show that much interest in him.

WSOF on the other hand may try to sign him to have him fight Moraes.
 
I hope he goes to Bellator he would be a great addition to the already stacked Featherweight Division.
He's a good fighter who has defeated some really good fighters and deserves to be in the B league promotion if he can't compete in the UFC.
 
I'd absolutely love to see him in Bellator. Such an exciting fighter. UFC did him wrong by cutting him before he had his day in court so I hope he's cleared and then comes back as champion. Just to rub it in Dana's face.

He's had his fair share of situations and they're probably just feed up of dealing with them.

I'm not justifying them cutting him, but I can understand why they did it.
 
Thought ufc cut him because he was charge for assault or something. Maybe if he gets life sorted out he be back in ufc

Possibly, but if I recall, others have been charged with felonies and the UFCs stance was guilty until proven innocent. Not in this case though.
 
Fight Nights guy said that the're offered him a fight with Rasul Mirzaev (@ Fight Nights 50 event, I think). Brandao was interested, but said that he may not be able to leave States or he might end up in jail/prison if he goes to Russia and then goes back to States. They also offered fight with Mirzaev to Lobov, he was interested but seems like UFC plans to give him one more fight.
 
Dude has issues. There was video years ago that shows he and his friends beating up someone in Brazil
 
I doubt anyone signs him before he goes to court. He's talented, but we've got enough clusterfucks in MMA with War Machine, Mayhem, Thiago, etc, we don't need more.

Of course, this is MMA, so I'll be wrong and he'll be signed to a fight next week.
 
Venator seems to be the place for convicted felons

Yea he got into an altercation at a night club. Pistol whipped a bouncer and pointed the gun at several people before running off

He's also on suspension for failing a drug test and lost 3 of his last 5. He's also a mid level fighter.

They have to keep Jones when they fuck up or Nick Diaz when he gets two DUI but the mid level guys who pile up a few losses and then get into trouble get cut.
 
no interest seeing him in Bellator but I like the idea of him being at ONE or WSOF
