did this guy had the biggest fall from grace?

The only correct answer to this is BJ Penn personally and professionally. Sucks he never surrounded himself with the correct people or hooked up with a real gym that would push him and try and reign in his bad habits

Possibly hardest champ crash but it is easy to overlook who beat him...

he's not even the hardest champ crash in his own division, let alone all of UFC. Renan Barao, Ronda Rousey, Johny Hendricks, Chris Weidman are all much worse off than Woodley is.

He didn’t have that far to fall. He won the belt with one big shot. Then he fought Wonderboy in some of the worst fights anyone has ever seen. The president of the company said “no one is going to pay to see Tyron Woodley fight ever again”

dude is on a 14 round losing streak

His last 3 fights where literally the top 3 ranked, oof

He literally sees him dropping and steps out of the way.
When I was in tech school in the Air Force, we were having an inspection. Room, wall locker, uniform, the whole works. We had to stand outside our doors and come to attention when a sergeant entered the hallway. They teach you in basic not to lock your knees when at attention because it can cause you to pass out. Apparently, one dude forgot that, and proceeded to fall forward, stiff as a board. The guy across the hall maintained his military bearing and neatly sidestepped out of the way. Face, meet cinderblock wall.

The Chris had a pretty bad fall. I never thought he would win again lol

Chuck got knocked to shadow realm by a Tito jab...

lol. Imagine thinking that GSP had a fall from grace. After that loss he avenged it brutally and never lost again.

GOAT
And even more than a decade later, the haters are still crying about it and grasping at straws

When you're so great your haters can't get over it for 15 years, you know you're an all time great

I am going to go with BJ Penn: went form champ to 1 - 9, losing 7 in a row, not counting the ass kicking he took in a parking lot.

Several UFC champs went out on a horrible skid.
Chuck went from champ to losing 4 in a row and 6 of 7.
Barao went from Champ to 1 - 8, losing 5 in a row.
Is that the guy that saw bj penn at an airport?

I don't know whether I agree or not (about WW).
Johny won it then lost it immediately. His crash was about his overall career.
Whereas Woodley was talking about GOAT status and had defences (though I'd say shallow defences) and his losses have been shut outs.
At least Johny had a couple of wins in his physical crumple.

Eh

It took Woodley a long time to get there

He's 38 now.

he did better than most. Not sure what people want from him.

Woodley back up against the fence and wait for the big counter, that was exposed long time ago

BJ actually broke his losing streak like 5 minutes later when he pieced up that line cook with some solid GnP. Seriously...
