It wouldn't surprise me, since it's acceptable in other parts of the world. When I was stationed in Sicily horse meat was a popular choice for panini out on the streets. I was actually served a horse meat steak in a cafeteria once, and didn't find out until a few bites in. Never ordered it again but it wasn't bad. It's not as taboo in some places as it is in America.

Well that depends on your definition of common.

Because there are probably more people in the Netherlands who have never eaten horse than people that have.

Us americans would go into a supermarket and grab pre-sliced ham, he would grab pre- sliced horse.

Was just placed out of context and exaggerated by the media. It's easy to get in Holland, you can get it in the grocery store, is normal. Dude just used it to his advantage. He can't help it the majority of the MMA fans are lacking in the brain department. And yes people, if you eat horse you will get smarter. :icon_twis
