Did not watch a single fight this weekend. Did i miss anything? Boxing? Glory? BKFC? XARM?

PVZ has become almost as big of a can as Greg Hardy (who got starched by a bum in boxing this weekend).

Just watched the first round. If PVZ had fought like that in the BKFC. She would have probably won at least the fight with Rachel Ostovich. Hart would probably have still beaten her though, imo.

In ten rounds (2, 5 round fights), in the BKFC she only fought like this (much more active, and aggressive) in round 10. Her last round in the org. She would have won on points if she had.. Well except for the last 20 seconds where she got dropped in this fight.

I don't remember much about her BKFC fights other than she looked terrible, and according to her, she still has fights left on her contract with them and will going back there eventually. I imagine they will match her up with Bec Rollins and she will lose again. She needs to go somewhere where she can kick and/or grapple. She sucks at boxing.

I think the main problem with it was the card had mostly manlets with no KO power, while the other cards are mostly 185+ guys, so you're gonna see a lot more knockouts in Oklahoma or Alabama than in Manletland.
Yeah, that makes sense.

But they just didn’t seem to be on the normal level of agression we see in the promotion. There are still a lot of debuting fighters on most BKFC cards (Usually local people). But there are starting to be many fighters with 4+ fights in the org. So they are becoming much more recognizable within the BKFC than they were even a couple of years ago.

Then there is 38-39 year old John Dodson who won his first 3 BKFC fights at FLW all in the first round, by KO. There are finishes all the time in the lower weight classes, too.

I’ve never actually looked it up. But just guessing, I’d probably guess at least 75% of BKFC fights end with a stoppage, including Dr stoppages.

The first BKFC card in Canada (Edmonton) a couple months ago was 10/10 finishes. Sometimes the fighters just seem to want it more. Whether they actually are talented fighters, or not. I wasn’t seeing anybody really going for the kill in Mexico with those prelim fights. It totally killed my buzz.

If my guess of 75% finishes is even close. Then five decisions in a row on one card is getting into some crazy odds, I bet. But the BKFC promotion is still so relatively new (2018). Even compared to mma.

I know that it’s usually must see tv. But that Mexican card was not must see tv, to me.

Chris Lytle was getting pissed off. He kept saying how unusual it was to have so many fights go to decision, I'll bet he wanted to throw his headset.

OP: I watch MMA every weekend. But this weekend there was no PFL, Bellator, UFC, ONE on Amazon, Rizin, ACA, or any major promotion. What was there to watch?

You and OP are not the same.

He also mentioned "if there's no good UFC event". So yeah, same.

I can't remember the last time I had a weekend where I did not watch ANY fights. If there is no good UFC event I tend to catch a boxing match, I have been enjoying BKFC lately, their shows are fun and I have caught some good kickboxing recently in part thanks to @BoxerMaurits who has been kind enough to remind me about a lot of good Glory events.

But this weekend... nothing.

And I didn't see shit in the news or in my YouTube Feed either. Just that fucking what's his stupid ass got KOed.. with the inhaler and the domestic violence .. Hardy? Greg Hardy? Is that his name?? Meh... not worth watching.

But surely there must have been SOMETHING!!

Some org had to have been smart enough to spot the void and seize the power vacuum oportunity to be the only game in town?? BKFC has done well putting Mike Perry on some of these weekends without a lot of competition, or maybe Karate Combat has hopped in but I didn't hear about either.

What did I miss?

ANYTHING??!?
Anything worth going to watch on YouTube?
No worries bro, June and July will make up for it!
