Did Nate Diaz just undermine the entire PPV?

Can't imagine Dana's reaction backstage but Nate stating that it's either Conor or he's going on vacation instead literally undermined the entire PPV as beneath him and also alluded to Conor being bigger than the PPV. UFC 200 is off to one bad start..

Don't worry bro, Dana's working on it.

Nate and Dana seemed very friendly immediately afterwards.

I don't understand Nate's outlook though - he didn't even want the rematch initially, now it's McGregor or nothing?

He says he wants big fights (I'll grant you, ND v CM 2 is "big") but he threatens to go on vacation instead of being a part of the (in theory) biggest card in history?

He was talking to Nate after it was over.

- We don't need Conor, you are still going to do money and will fight on the biggest event.

Then Nate said, no bitch, It's Conor or nothing.

Because it isn't the biggest card in history. With McGregor, it is. Nate knows that. He wants to main the biggest PPV against the biggest draw but without Conor, everything else is beneath him.

There's no other big fight for him. He ain't fighting RDA. He aint fighting a welter for the belt. He already said those big fights are for Nick. They threw names at him and he only wants Conor. That's the only non-title shot that makes sense to him and makes money for him. It's not crazy.

Nate made A LOT of money from the first conor fight. i doubt he'll now settle for less.

Nate is a legend. Dana and UFC tried to marginalize Conor. Nate was asked what he thought and he responded perfectly, and he went the opposite way the UFC wanted him to go haha.

Nate wants to headline UFC200 and the only way that happens if he faces Conor. Dana does not give a shit about Nate. Hell be paid a lot less if he fights someone else. Nate does not want to keep fighting forever either hes pushing on nearly 31 years old.

LOL, wow. I think Dana has a handle on it. There will be free money for Nate no matter what happens. Dana is fine with Nate, I'm sure.

A Diaz showed up to a presser when McGregor wouldn't. Dana isn't going to forget that.

And Nate just played it really cool in public. How it should be handled.

He literally shat on the entire PPV. He basically said the Conor fight is more valuable to him than fighting on the supposed biggest card in history; the card "every fighter" wants to be apart of.

Dana: "Nate $1 million to fight GSP or anyone else"
Nate: "That's exactly what I said motherf*****"

I get the impression that if he gets a "big-money fight" he will be happy.

Anyone who doesn't understand why Nate played it like he did is a idiot.

Ya was gonna start a tread similar ts, out of the bag cat he has let

Good, hopefully the UFC treats their product with some respect and not as replaceable commodity

Come on people, this was so scripted from the beginning. Odd that Nate was so silent, only if he wasn't aware of what was going on. This is just the UFC trying to feed the fangirls, add spice to an otherwise lackluster 'primo' event.

Man he just made bank his last fight and would have been on vacation for 200 had Conor not specifically asked for him. You'd do the same damn thing in his place.
