Did medieval people and people before them grasp technological advancement?

Aye, when I was but a wee stable boy, I dreamt of a time when I could stare into a magic portal and see wenches in all their nakedness.

When I was a kid in the 1980s, I thought we'd have flying cars, cure for cancer, etc..

I also thought there'd be wireless telephones with TV screens on the so you could see who you were talking to. But that has actually happened.

You didn't think those things, you saw them in sci-fi flicks or read about them in books.

Yeah he didnt. All that stuff was on tv.

Even in medieval times there were many advancements. Wheeled plows, horseshoes, water ducts, central heating, cranes, mechanical clocks, paper mills, printing presses, spectacles, and many advancements in armor and implements of war.

No our current technology would makes us demons and they would burn us alive. Like if we brought a smartphone <Wendy2> and started watching YouTube
But if they saw all the supper kinks we have it might cause them to get injured. I don't think medieval peoples arms and penises/ Vaginas are evolved enough for constant masturbations for a prolonged period.

The penis, vagina and other medieval orifice will get destroyed.

I always found it crazy how tightly packed history is

Like this guys grandad met napoleon

Your great Grand Father if you are American might have met Teddy Rossevelt specially if they served in the SpAm wars. My Great grand pops met Teddy after getting shot by a mouser in the Leg in Cuba.

going from the stone age to the medieval times was technological progress so yes.
It was just a slower pace.

Just go back +50 years and everybody thought we would have flying cars in 2024.
We still drive gas cars.
I can imagine some Stone Age people imagining new materials and hi tech stone tools until he got hit in the head by a rock by their half brother for talking to much!
