Because they have to make it remotely presentable. The opponent probably would've backed out if they tried to announce a GIGANTIC MW as OFFICIALLY weighing in at 166, lmao.

this goes like the Usman fight but this time Rob is a real MW with tons of fights in his resume. Khamzat will basically try the TDD and if Rob stops those he'll win.

Not sure what point you make here

- Khamzat agreed to fight Costa, who might be the best MW in UFC
- Whittaker was a WW in his early 20s and struggling
- Khamzat himself was a WW at a later age and higher level
 
the down under knuckles will get it done, he will get a late stoppage 100%. kamzhat only has elite movement for one round. knuckles is too smart for this shit. not only will he survive the round, he will take it into deep waters, he will demystify teh kamzhat, and deplete him of his aura, on the big stage. this will be one to remember, the day kamzhat lost.

of course he's fighting one of the smallest Middleweights he sure does like fighting smaller guys. Rob needs to survive one maybe 2 rounds and then he takes over the fight.
 
This fight is hard to pick, mainly because Whitaker is chinny.

Whittaker that fight Romero handles Khamzat, but bobby is past his prime now.
