Did Jon Jones escape Jan Blachowitz's reign?

I do not necessarily know about that. i think Bisping always had a good defensively minded game and a high output kick boxing style to potentially do well vs even a prime Andy. Chael sure did great and Bisping gave him a heck of a fight, but he just could not win that title eliminator. Silva is absolutely superior overall, but he was a counter striker not really known for his wrestling, leading or aggression, the type of style Bisping could conceivably get a decision over if he avoided getting KO'd. It is too bad Cote, Leites, Maia and other fights were made and not the Ping fight in Andy's "prime".

I’m sure jones is afraid of one of the greatest finishers and ko artist of all time. As Jan has 8 kos in 40 fights. Just a one of a kind destroyer of worlds the mma world has never seen

Jan was giving Gus the business before he panicked wrestled and Gus is kind of a mental midget when it comes to big fights so who knows? Old man Glover has an iffy chin too so I think that's a 50/50 fight

I hate Jon Cokes Jones but I agree with this post. Cokes is a good fighter and I dont see anyone in LHW beating him even now. That being said, I hope he gets locked up for life, that scum

I just hate how people cherry pick like this, they do same things for GSP and Silva. Except you can do it with literally anyone, just go down the line and give the most uncharitable version of every possible fight until everyone is overrated and no one is any good. It’s just plain silly.
 
Jones has poor boxing so in exchanges Jan can maybe do some damage, especially on the inside where Jon Jones has nonexistent fighting ability. Having said that, Jones would likely side kick and run and maybe wrestle Jan. Reyes was much harder for Jones.
 
No one in the lhw division is at Jones level.. Jones got bored and that’s why he went on to pursue a fight at hw.. only reason there were close rights at lhw for Jones is because he was bored. I mean last nights fight between Jan and Tex was pathetic .. two old ( and their age showed) fighters looking sluggish and that’s was a title fight lol thought I was watching Bellator
