Did Hill pull out because of Pereira?

I just thought it was weird that the ref comes in to break the action but you let a fighter tell you how to ref? Never seen that. Hill thought a break was coming in the action because the ref was coming in between, but the ref said Alex was in charge of the match apparently. Why even have a ref

That makes zero sense. Why should Hill be given a break in action for committing a foul? Alex as the fouled fighter absolutely should be in charge of how to proceed and the ref did exactly what he is supposed to do, stepping in giving the fouled fighter the choice to take his time to recover from the low blow or continue fighting. Alex chose immediately to continue fighting.

Also it was Hill who engaged and got countered. Its not like the ref restarted the action and then Hill got sucker punched. If he felt off about the break, he could have backed off and reset.

If the action would have been stopped, Hill would be crying about how Alex got a break and was milking it. His attitude sucks
