To start, it was a conspiracy at first to suggest that human to human transmission was possible back in late 2019 when China started locking down dozens of millions of people. If you remember, the MSM spent most of late 2019 telling people that there was nothing to see in China, and that this was all basically a flu. Trump was called a racist by everyone (including Biden) for restricting travel from China. Pelosi said that people should go party in Chinatown. Then this thing spread and the MSM did a complete 180. So, the first month or so, people like me were called conspiracy theorists for telling people that this thing was coming and that it was a big deal.
Once the MSM and Dem politicians changed their tune, it became a conspiracy to suggest that China and the WHO were hiding their true numbers. There was a lot of race baiting at this time to stop people from questioning China's intentions. Then it was a conspiracy to suggest that China was jailing and killing their own citizens for speaking out about the virus. Then it was a conspiracy to suggest that this wasn't the result of one person eating a bat in a wet market. Then it was a conspiracy to suggest that Chinese spies had been smuggling coronavirus samples from the US/Canada. Then it was a conspiracy to suggest that the Wuhan lab may be responsible, and that the lab had been moved from it original spot on Google maps.
There's more (Cuomo sticking sick people in nursing homes and needlessly killing elderly people, masks being helpful, etc), but that's a short timeline from the top of my head. The MSM has been wrong about this virus since the beginning and any dissent from the official narrative has been labeled as dangerous conspiracy theories. Countless people have been kicked off tech platforms for reporting things that were proven to be true a couple months later. Then the MSM just gaslights and pretends like they knew these things were true all along.
