OK, I'm now convinced Cheney offed himself before he could see a Muslim become mayor of New York.

After watching JD Vance make a run at Charlie Kirk's wife, Cheney was pissed he was not still VP.

I can remember during the Iraq war Cheney was pretty much the only one in the W Bush White House able to communicate. The Iraq war was going badly, and yet President Bush was such a poor communicator that he wasn't able to say much. It could be embarrassing to hear him talk. Cheney being able to communicate well was a help for the White House but not enough.

Didn't care much for Cheney in later years, on how he was communicating. He went off the deep end I thought and wasn't all that believable.

It would help that Cheney cash oil mule was the main reason for the invasion and not the WMDs, it makes sense that he would be the lead negotiator.

Bush jr was out of his league until the last year of his presidency, a late bloomer.

-Cheney acknowledged that Bush's base was anti-gay and he himself couldnt campaign on this as his daughter was gay.
