if they had a 4 man tounry at 135. Who do you think would come out on top.

I think Baby Bull Diaz would beat them all but Rios vs Ward would a fight.

Theyre all FOTY material. If they all had trilogies with eachother I'd expect Gatti to take the most wins. Their styles all match up well.

why not add Castillo and Corrales and have a dual, 3-way round robin, winners fight for keeps.

Gatti has the skills to box up Rios and showed he could do it against Ward.

Baby Bull was just a beast in his prime, that would be Gatti's toughest test. He may be too big and aggressive for Gatti.

If I had to pick, Baby Bull.

Gatti would win that shit. People only seem to remember old, used up Gatti who got smacked around by Floyd. Gatti was a good all around fighter.

Daiz beats them too.

Agree actually. Neither put combos together as good as JMM, or have the timing/counter ability. Both factors I feel are needed to beat the Baby Bull.

Agreed. I think Gatti has the best chance to beat Diaz. Chin to absorb all the Bull has for 10 rounds, then land a big counter. Diaz's output would keep Rios and Ward in a shell with their guard up all night. They need more time to get momentum going and accumulate damage. Gatti can end it with one punch.

I have to take my man Ward

Gatti at lightweight didn't have the massive size advantage he enjoyed at super-feather & I don't think he had the room for his physique if you like at 135 lbs that he had at light-welter (like he was still draining down but the guys he was fighting were big enough to stand up to him).

I remember the two losses to Robinson & the shellacking he took from Manfredy like it was yesterday.

I'd pay to see any of those guys fight Juan Diaz but I don't think any of them beat him in Diaz's pomp (prior to Campbell/Marquez), though as said above Gatti at least had the one-shot power to change the tide, something I don't think Rios or Ward had.

All those fights would be all-action all the way, though.

I'd probably go with Gatti.

I agree with this sentiment. It's also nice to see you agree Gatti was at the end when he fought Mayweather.

I remember Gatti starting to take Manfredy's soul with body shots when they stopped it prematurely. Will have to watch that one again.

Still reasonably strong but certainly not prime, no.

Prime Gatti had good timing, great power at the lower weights, was a good body puncher, good counter puncher- I think he wrecks Diaz at 135. Diaz was too hittable.

He might. I don't see Gatti or Diaz as being hugely favored over the other. Tough fight to pick. I think they are both a class up from Rios, and I think Rios would beat Ward.

I agree 100%. Diaz is a nice guy, and exciting to watch, but much too reckless.
