Question - Does winning the rematch with McGregor make Nate even bigger, or does a loss to McGregor and potential trilogy series mean bigger business for Nate?
Conor stated more than once he wants a third fight with Diaz if he wins this one. He will probably defend his belt at 145 first though I agree with that.
I don't buy into Nate needing to lose for financial reasons. I think being the man who stopped the sport's biggest star twice in a row will turn Nate into a huge draw independent of Conor. Hell, the first win probably has already gone a long way to doing that.
If the fighters are talking about a potential trilogy and the money it might generate for them both then that just smells bad. Would Diaz take a dive for big rubber match money? We shall see.
