Question - Does winning the rematch with McGregor make Nate even bigger, or does a loss to McGregor and potential trilogy series mean bigger business for Nate?

I don't think there's gonna be a rubber match. If Nate wins again, there's no point; if Conor wins, the UFC wouldn't want to take the risk of him losing again.

I'd quite enjoy seeing Nate win 3x

There won't be any need. Nate is about to make it official.

No need for three matches when Nate wins two.

Why would they let Conor further embarrass himself into an 0-3 record without defending his belt?

Well if conor wins or loses,he should go back to 145 and defend the belt at least twice. Before he takes anthor fight at 155 or above.Though if he wins he will probably fight for the belt then go to 70 and fight nick and win or lose he has the nate 3 fight

That's what I'm worried about. That Nate doesn't care all that much about losing because it means even more money down the road.

You sound like the morons before the first fight claiming he was going to take a dive because nate said he might get knocked out

If Nate loses there's no more red panty nights.

If Mac wins he'll say the first fight was a fluke and now he's made his point and he's done with Diaz.

Then he'll either defend his belt or try and get a fight with Alvarez.

Conor stated more than once he wants a third fight with Diaz if he wins this one. He will probably defend his belt at 145 first though I agree with that.

Haha, if Conor wins he's gonna spend the rest of his life so far from a Nate rematch I'd be surprised if they ever even fought on the same card again.

He did say that but only once he defends his FW title. I don't think Dana would let him do a third Diaz fight.

But wait; there’s a catch, McGregor said. Assuming he gets the job done against Diaz, he said he must first fulfill his duties as a UFC champion and go back down to 145 pounds.

“I feel we’ll enter into a trilogy. Why not? It was a great fight the last time, and I really enjoyed it,” McGregor told MMAjunkie. “I’ll correct that win. I’ll reclaim this. Let all those featherweights know that are praying I don’t come back. I really, I swear to God, don’t even understand how they could say I’m not coming back.”

lol. if coner wins, we will see the first fight overturned or changed to a n/c and it will be buried forever--not on fightpass, not on ufc.com, not on highlight reel--itll be the stuff of lore.
