Social Diane Feinstein RIP

Not saying he is or isn't but that is hypocritacal from a poster like you that thinks the exact same way towards anyone not left of you or Sinister. You two will never even take a moderate stance. Has to always be far left which is why your credibility is questionable.

No, I actually recognize that different rightists have different views.

Shame on the two parties sticking these demented old ducks out there. Shame on them for doing the same their whole career so they get absolutely no sympathy from me. If they refuse to step down, Mitch and Biden next please. Pelosi needs to retire next cycle before she joins the walking dead legislators

You'll still suck Mar-a Lardo's dick when he tells you though.

she literally lives in a different state <45><45><45>

She basically lead an lgbtq+ activist group that lobbied in the DC area, thus lived in the area (maryland). She used to live in CA

Nothing screams democracy like appointing a DC swamp creature to represent a state they don’t live in, without an election

A fundraiser for a lobbying firm.

I guess if she wasn't appointed as senator, she would have been appointed to an ambassadorship at some point

Please don't look up if there are any Republican Senators who currently dont live in the States they represent, or if they dont even have solid paperwork that they actually own a residence in those States.

I know there are, and I have commented on it previously. Just look at swamp creature Liz Cheney. Raised and lived in northern Va her whole life. There was also a GOP lady trying to do the same thing last election cycle in Tennessee. It is disgusting

disappointed you have no problem with it, guess i am not surprised tho.

Any black port in a storm. I hate when politicians vow to only select a person from a limited group to a position of influence and power. It shows they are looking to virtue signal over finding the best candidate
it's a 5 month appointment? who cares? they will just do what they're told anyways.

I'm not a fan of how Newsom chose Butler, but, the election is around the corner so the people will have a chance to have their say soon. Not really that big of a deal when you think about it. There's not really a perfect fix for situations like this. The fault is on Feinstein and her team for not retiring earlier.

I think he should have picked someone who at least lived in the state and was registered there. Just being able to throw in someone from the DC area to represent California seems wrong

I don't disagree. Seems like she got in via the Kamala connection. The whole process is flawed and silly though. That's a lot of power for one man to have.
But, in the grand scheme of things, for a state like California, it doesn't really matter. It'd be more of an issue in a purple state, especially if there was more time until an election.
And really, just about anyone with a pulse is a better representative for California than the corpse of Feinstein her staff were wheeling around.
