My opinion, it’s been really good so far if you’re a fan. Really excited to see how it all turns out.
If you haven’t watched yet and are a fan of the show, fucking get on it!

I'm in two minds, enjoyed the first 6 seasons, wasn't too fussed on the recent one, no interest in the young Dexter. 100% it won't be as fun as the originals so I probably won't. But I might, or I might not, I don't know man

It’s been a fun ride so far through 4 episodes. Good cast as well with Uma and NPH and the Imp.

Dexter back? I thought he was killed by his son? Dexter is probably my favorite show ever. Entourage tied. I'm showing my age lol

Yes, he was shot but survived because of the extreme cold temperatures. Coma for 10 weeks.

I liked Dexter in 00s. But the show de lined badly after Lithgow season. Loved the Eye candy dy of Yvonne but her parts were so badly written an acted.

Did you watch New Blood?

It was decent, not the greatest season, but better than the last couple of the original.
This new one has started off really good so far, and they are tying everything together nicely. Has a great cast as well.

As I gotten older I just no longer find the pyscho anti hero thing as appealing so that's part of it for me .

The first 2 seasons and tbe Lithgow season was great TV back then

Yeah, Lithgow season was great, my favorite target of Dexters for sure, he has a small role in the new season as well…

It was good until the last episode, when Dexter completely changed character and his son suddenly decided it's ok to shoot your dad. It was like the script writers got bored or got fired

Idk, I think the end of the episode says otherwise. I think him stopping Harrison from turning himself in is going to take that relationship in a different direction.
And not sure how Dexter completely changed character? I think if anything, he was back to his old self, the “Bay Harbor Butcher” that we all loved, at a buffet of killers lol.

Hey if you liked it, I'm happy for you. The quality from season 5 on dropped every season. Seasons had a few redeeming moments, like Billy Cox as the tooth fairy killer and later Ray Stevenson acting the part of the terminator.

But overall I strongly disliked more than I enjoyed.

You don't have to. That one takes place when Dexter is just starting out as a crime scene tech. It was much better than I thought it would be going in.
