Law Details of Fani Willis’ alleged ‘improper’ relationship with prosecutor may go public as judge unseals his divorce case

A Republican who donated to Fani Willis campaign in 2020.

Also, I don’t have kids unfortunately but either way it’s not necessary to try to insult me. I did not insult you or any of your friends in this thread.

This will be a little off topic but speaking more broadly outside of this case, simply saying you’re a Republican, or least of all, having been a member of the federalist society(Wray) doesn’t mean dick anymore.

There is a clear schism between the 4-5 percent of remaining Bush/McCain era beltway neo-cons and the rest of the Republican Party. Problem is, that remaining portion of dinosaurs still holds basically all Republican representation in the bureaucracy and a lot of the judiciary.

For example, The debate commission is supposed to be split among republicans and democrats to ensure the vetting of moderators, venue, etc is fair to both candidates. Bob Dole had said that he personally knew every Republican who sat on that commission and was supposed to be making sure Trump got a fair shake…and not a single one supported President Trump. In fact, most of them hated Trump. I’m sure they all had their Republican bonafides from the early aughts as well but beltway republicans are more closely aligned with democrats nowadays if only just for one issue. Their opposition to Trump and a more nationalist movement.

How many former Bush and McCain aides work for MSNBC now and are even more mouth foaming than left wing lifers? Many still claim to be republicans.

I suspect a federalist society member who donated to Fani Willis Fulton county campaign didn’t do so for her conservative approach to law.

But the point is, most republicans know that simply pointing out that a judge, commentator, or bureaucrat is registered Republican warrants further examination.

Anyway, I think this case is going nowhere and won’t get anywhere near Trump before the election…which is the purpose of it. Will bump when it turns out.
Before I respond, I do sincerely apologize for insulting you. You are right that it was uncalled for.

You are also quite correct that Trump’s movement is a nationalist movement. More specifically, it is a white nationalist and Christian nationalist movement—i.e., a movement steeped in racism, theocracy, and fascist/autocratic leanings.

I don’t watch much cable news, and never MSNBC, so I couldn’t tell you how many former Bush administration officials are now correspondents. I can tell you that it seems clear that this phenomenon has nothing to do with them abandoning conservative values, and everything to do with what you said: not wanting to support Trump, and the nationalist movement that he leads and represents.

But Judge McAfee isn’t some old Bush administration official—he was a Trump administration official, a Trump appointed, member of his DOJ. And that’s the position he held—not the position of a judge on the bench in GA—when he made his donation.

—And Fanni Willis wasn’t running to unseat some Republican. The incumbent was a long-serving Democrat who had been found to be padding his salary by funneling city grants from non-profits, was under investigation for sexual harassment, and other scandals. Isn’t it far more likely that McAfee donated to Fanni Willis to help oust a DA he considered corrupt or criminal?

I know I’m not going to sway your opinion. If you’re still holding on to Trump’s election-fraud lies from 4 years ago which were all easily disproven, or thinking that criminal charges for felonies that we have ample evidence he committed are some kind of “election interference,” there’s nothing I’m gonna say that changes your mind,

Wow. What a great and accurate, perhaps too great and accurate statement by our favourite President. Probably should be our current president , if not for some things, very perculiar things

She’s still on the case lmao wow

after following this shit for months and listening to their star witnesses testifying repeatedly on the stand that it was all just a bunch of speculation and they dont actually know anything, who would have ever guessed?

i mean this one was supposed to be a slam dunk for trump ever since it turned out that there was not a single mention of fani willis anywhere in that divorce deposition. all of the damning evidence against crooked fani (pronounced fauni!) willis just kept piling up after that. maybe one of these months they will bring some of it to court. just not this month.

"why can't my team just jail him???"
A federalist society judge just ruled against Trump's legal team. He's part of the deep state now too...

You really should go back to "the party of law and order"...this whole business of "its not fair" if it doesn't benefit a guy EVEN YOU know is a lifetime crook and conman, is...unbecoming.

"we only have room for one corrupt DA so one of you's gotta leave" is justice...
