News On the Day of His Retirement Jon Jones Charged with Fleeing the Scene of an Accident in Albuquerque, NM (Update W/ Cam Footage).

He just can't stay out of trouble. Now he has retired and won't train for fights anymore I expect his run ins with the law will get worse with all that free time on his hands.
Just wait until he finds out his amazing brand wasn't so amazing and his business opportunities go south. Won't be a good situation, his girlfriend should take the kids and make a run for it and not look back. Seriously.

assault too. once you tell someone you'd kill them, that's assault in a lot of places.
Probably not over the phone. They could stretch it if the person believes they could actually be attacked, but usually the threat has to be pretty immediately present.

Which is a misdemeanor in New Mexico unless it involves a school, church, or government agency.
Possibly even petty misdemeanor (now, that still is a crime, mind you). However, I don't remember his record but if he's got any convicted criminal history of prior threats in any states, then this would actually be a 4th degree felony

If Jon only took the Tom fight and was in training camp focused none of this would have happened. <lol>

Will all the intoxicated driving he does, it's a miracle he hasn't actually killed someone yet, but it will happen eventually if he's allowed to continue.
That we know of. Apparently Jon knows people to hire for all sorts of shit. If he knows who to call for lethal force from a 3rd party (his words) I wouldn't be surprised if he had a number or two of folks who know how to get rid of a body.

Of course Dana said he didn't know about it.

This happened back in Feb? Jon had that assault charge last year in Oct that was agreed to be dismissed if he did 4 hours anger management and stayed crime free for 90 days. That date would have been 1/27, so not even a month after needing to stay crime free, this comes up.

I'm assuming he did the anger management. If not, what a fuckup, cuz that's a layup agreement for dismissal. This guy can't stay out of trouble

100% JJ is right.

I've always been a advocate for fighters quitting before they get damaged, and get used up by promoters. I love to see it. Perfect timing JJ.

A perfect career if JJ didnt get injured while moving to HW. He would have picked off Stipe at a more respectable time before running away from the real HW bangers.
And now he can dedicate 100% of his energy to being a felon. Exciting times for JJ and his fandom

I feel there's probably other shit the UFC swept under the rug. This happened in Feb and no one knew till now. A year in prison might do Jones some good in learning consequences, but my guess is he'd fit right in with the rest of the psychos and he'd embrace the lifestyle of preying on others.
