may very well be scripted........ for example omalley has favorable matches, bias refs (herb stopping a fight with 30 secs to get him a ko on his record, early aljo stoppage), and judges (yan win) on his side.

If the UFC was fully scripted most of the champions would be American. You see they try to engineer American fighters towards belts like Jons immediate title shot, Khalil getting a shot randomly, O'Malley and Strickland getting needless rematches etc plus a literal fake belt (BMF) thats solely contested by Americans.

The sidelining of American fighters, often by unmarketable Dagis and Georgians and shit, is a commercial nightmare for them. That tells you its not scripted.
