50 miles speed limit in the US, it s probably a normal road outside of a city, isnt it ?
With that kind of car and good visibility, on an empty road, you get there pretty quickly.

It can vary a lot between states. The good news is he wasn't trying to evade police, this may be his first offense? And he's rich so he can hire a good defense attorney.

It wouldn't surprise me if he got off on probation and community service with no or minimal jail time
