With what?Best of luck! I retired at 55 four years ago and I haven’t looked back. My days are just as full as when I used to work.

not certain. Hopefully i dont sit around and drink myself to death. Get outside, spend time on the beach, write, take up swimming. Pretty sure anything would beat being at work all by myself surfing sherdog on a saturday night. And do what exactly?

You have a point.Theres is nothing out there except sherdog
Dang, Denmark is usually super progressive
Dark future a head. This an uncomfortable truth but lets be honest with the Genex and millenials getting older poor the Millenial seniors might be the generation that will have the highest suicide rates.Younger people better start saving accordingly. Zero fucking chance id work that long... Let alone to rely on the government. Especially because they have socialized medicine. I want to retire by 60... But the only thing that might hold me back is insurance coverage.
If I lived there? Id be out of the workforce by 60. Fuck telling me I have work my whole life. Nothing is guaranteed, life expectancy be damned.

I do a lot of woodworking. I”ve always loved the outdoors so I spend a lot of time fishing, hiking, hunting, riding my ATV, traveling. I also bought a house with acreage big wooded lot so just taking care of that keeps me busy. The thing is that I can be as busy as I like, but I can also take it easy when I feel like it.With what?
That's certainly a perspective lol. They almost burned France to the ground when they made it 59
French are such entitled little bitches
Sounds like you have it figured out. Imagine not being able to find purpose and value in life without employment, couldn't be me!I do a lot of woodworking. Why you are thinking that it is insanity? They also get 5 weeks of paid time off per year. It's almost like you get to enjoy your life while you're young and able to do what you want. Insanity!
If lawmakers will think that their neurosuregon might be 70 y.o...Not sure why this is controversial. Pretty standard to expect people to work longer as average life span increases. Danes also live to an average of about 83 while Americans are at around 79.
What type of yearly income are you talking about to retire at 55?I hope to retire by 55 (im 43). 70 seems pretty crazy.
I get that and still want to retire before 70.They also get 5 weeks of paid time off per year. It's almost like you get to enjoy your life while you're young and able to do what you want. Insanity!
