It's insane how a few years ago it was looking like Conservatives would never win another election. They had all the momentum in the world and just squandered fucking everything and are looking abysmal. Well to be fair people where saying no republican will be elected again after a while when Obumma got elected citing how terrible Bush and McCaine are mainly because of the Iraq war.

I know it has worked in Mexico and sounds like they are trying to start it in the U.K. but the problem with starting a third party in the U.S. are the two groups that need the third party (far left and centrists) are opposed on a lot of things.

That is on topic. Part of the reason why Americans think Democrats are absolute scumbags is that they promoted 10's to 100's of thousands of children being raped and sold into slavery by refusing to secure our border... and you think any other political group in America is worse on the topic?

The last part is very, very true but I think that's the goal of Liberalism at this point. Identify a problem. Identify a fix for it but when they have the power never actually fix it. They could have codified Roe vs. Wade while Obama was in office. They didn't do it. They could have signed orders canceling more significant student debt. They didn't do it. They could have come up with a solution to immigration. They didn't do it. They could have been tougher on Israel. They didn't do it.

Part of the problem with Dems is when they get into power they want to hold hands and have consideration from Republicans but it never works the opposite way. This is why when people call many Dems leftist I laugh. No leftist would say words like "We need a strong Republican Party". The exact words people like Biden have said. I would argue current Dems don't have good policy. It's a ride the fence policy of being for the market and being for bureaucracy simultaneously.
