It would not surprise me if transgender people were viewed and accepted the same as gay people are today in 10-20 years. As far as the "2S and +700 genders and everybody calling each other zer" or whatever you're talking about, I dunno because I'm not really familiar with whatever all that is.

But I'm old. And one thing you should never lose sight of is the fact that old people will often not understand what younger generations are doing, and that's fine because they're building the world they want to live in—not the one that you want to live in. And that's their prerogative.

Every single generation has looked at something their children or grandchildren were doing and were confused and appalled by it. I know you probably want to think that this time it's completely different, and that this time they've done gone too far, but you really are no different from your grandparents in that regard.

I'm not nearly arrogant enough to believe that I know what the future holds regarding sociology. The only confident prediction I have is that conservatives (especially religious) will try to fight societal change with all their might, and will often resort to authoritarianism to accomplish that goal, which will lead inexorably to human tragedy. I'm only confident in this, because it's been a common thread throughout human history.

Progressives are dragging down the democrats with their lunacy. They should be ignored, it’s not like they’ll ever vote for a right wing party anyways so there’s no need to cater to them.

Also, besides the value of importing voters, the democrats have done absolutely nothing to show they care about American citizens at all. They care much more about illegals. The republicans only care about Israel. It’s a mess.

It would be much easier for the democrats to fix their party and dominante the political landscape than the republicans though IMO

It is weird how they went from cool to not cool, so quickly. 2016 Trump could've been a blip on the radar, had Democrats not doubled down on stupid radical nonsense, that pretty much set them back 50 years and currently has most people not trusting them with power.

If they would just calm down, get back to basics and act professional, instead of getting triggered by every little thing while acting like spastic children, they'd never lose.
