Elections Democrat Party dirty tricks exposed

I am talking out of my ass, mostly. I don’t follow politics too closely to intelligently speak on it-yet, for some reason, I still do. Wonder what that’s about?? Anyway, yea, I made an assumption that trump also sabotaged any third party candidates, but you seem orettt confident he didn’t, and you seem more versed on it than me. My only explanation is that trump thought the third party would steal votes from harrris rather than himself. I strongly believe that if trump found a third party candidate to be a threat, he absolutely would have gone after them.
Sadly, for me, every third party candidate in my life time have all sucked tremendously. I just want a viable option that could restore my faith in politics and want to see a viable third option so I can vote for an actual person instead of voting for one of my animals like I have in the last three elections
I never claimed he/the Rs didn't. I was just posting a fact. I doubt anyone here has a politcal science degree. Those that I've met personally who do have one, are typically bullshitters anyway.

Modern day politics in DC has nothing to do with leadership (or science) and has everything to do with firm kneepads and popularity amongst wealthy owners/donors.

We do agree, there has to be a 3rd, 4th or even a 5th party. My point is, we have proof Trump attempted to pander to them, D's like Dick Wilson likely tried to rat fk them.

Gonna go out on a limb and claim 3rd parties would prefer to be pandered to and not rat fkked.

I can't imagine how gay you'd have to be to internalize the results of a national election like that. I mean, my life is going on just the same. I still have to put up with shit threads.

But getting back on topic: My point was that Taibbi is a shit source because he's been caught lying before (for example, the twitter files). And I don't think that's refuted by, "But he was once on Rolling Stone!"

Are you even American?
And your AV reflects that.

You, literally, don’t know shit about anything. Or, maybe you’re just trolling.

Read the article. Look in to the authors body of work. He has a pretty solid career.

LOL, fucking saving democracy. The DNC is a criminal organization.
It was just a joke, man.

Damn, Balls. You’ve been blue pulse skull fucked by sound bites and focus group tested slogans for at least ten years and call Matt Taibbi a liar…it really is sad at this point.
An honest look around suggests that the world, not just the U.S, is waking up from the media induced trance that allowed their sovereignty and personal freedom to be chipped away damn near to a point of lost..
Take a deep breath, contemplate a bit and join the free, brother.
You don’t have to surrender your heart felt beliefs, there’s room for everyone who’s willing to make honest evaluation.
Try having an honest chat with brother @SKYNET net, here. He’s doing some heavy lifting.

I have never been a taibi fan as he is rabidly anti-police, but this was very interesting. Color me surprised that move on.org are the shitheads I always believed them to be. Politics is a disgustingly filthy arena. And also, surprising is that leftists are playing dirty. Shocking, really. But I am sure the republicans had their own anti third party schemes going as well.

I would love to see viable third party candidates because I hate both sides and haven’t liked a president in decades. Oddly enough, it was Bush, but looking back, I was pretty young a naive and got swept up in the 9/11 patriotism. I still think bush is mostly a good man, or he seems like a decent one, but if my knowledge of politics has taught me anything, it’s that 95% by my guess, of major politicians are selfish and only out for their best interests, increasing their vast wealth, and seeking even more power. So I am sure bush was no different, I just didn’t see it because I was 22 around that time.
He was a fuck pig, groomed for a life of politics and increasing elite wealth.

Just like the rest..

Dems always been dirtiest players in game since Clinton took office.

Progressive left are so detached from reality there's no even having a discussion with them at this point.
IDK, brother.. Clinton, and his wretched ol’ lady, are lying scum for sure. But the (R)’s put a bunch of lawfare fuckery on him that was detestable..

Let the voters decide.

Trump went to the libertarian convention and tried to bribe them.

Didn't seem so anti-third party, pandering for their support. (hot sauce anyone?)

Lefties here mocked and ridiculed him for this (as did most libertarians at the convention)

Maybe they think he should have used a Different strategy?
FTFY

Maybe. He was certainly groomed for potus. The reason I don’t think he is a terrible guy like trump is because if you look at his interactions with the Obamas, he and Michelle seem to have a good relationship and even the Clintons. He doesn’t seem to be super hardcore against the other side and is really civil. Again, I admit that my opinions on him were when I was young and 9/11 just happened and everyone rallied behind him, or most people did.

With that said, the extreme hate between the sides seemed to start when gore lost by hanging chads in Florida. For me, that was when I first noticed that politics started getting really nasty. I mean, it’s not quite potus candidates having duels or anything like 200 years ago or watergate, but it has steadily gotten worse and worse since 2000 to where now, both sides essentially vehemently hate the other side. Or maybe when Obama was elected?? I don’t know, I just don’t remember the 80s/90s being so nasty. The first scandal I remember as an adult was cum gate with Clinton and Lewinsky. And I remember ken starr and the investigation and impeachment, but it was very tame compared to trump/obama hatred.

Another Twitter files believer lmao
Was even Taibbi calling it gov't censorship? Holmes is literally a bigger hack than actual professional propagandists.

I think you probably just don't remember the '90s that well. Rightists absolutely lost their damned minds when Clinton won. They started forming militias. G. Gordon Liddy was giving advice for killing federal law enforcement officers (aim for the head, for example) on a popular radio show. Limbaugh called Chelsea Clinton "the White House dog" when she was 12 years old. Not to mention all the shit Gingrich did.

I would say that the '90s were when things took a really nasty turn. They were off-the-charts nasty in the '60s and '70s. Obviously you know about the four major assassinations in the '60s, and Ford was shot at twice in the '70s. Wallace was paralyzed. Lots of bombings and riots. I think bipartisan agreement about getting rid of Nixon calmed things down a bit, and then Reagan's landslide wins also showed a kind of unity. Then we had a winding down and then end of the Cold War. But Gingrich and talk radio really helped to bring the nastiness back starting in the mid-90s. Now we have foreign gov'ts again trying to sow division, plus a fractured media environment and the dominance of Bircher types over the GOP.

seems to me american politics has always been crazy, the political violence portrayed in gangs of new york was based on real events. the mc carthy witchunts etc..
admittedly the irish went to war with themselves and the british beheaded their king...

Yeah, you’re probably right. My guess, is that with social media and the internet, everything is right in our face now and the average person can reach so many more people now than they could pre social media/internet so we are constantly getting everyone’s opinions on facebook and twitter. It’s funny, I see the same five memes from a bunch of my fb friends. Today’s meme is something like “87 million people are traveling today but couldn’t afford eggs last week” posted by all my leftist friends and each one thinks they are so unique posting it. Then, on the other side, several of my rightest friends posted some trans woman saying she will use violence to use the bathrooom of her choice.
