Demian Maia all class

When Neil Magny was interviewed on the weigh in show, he talked about being invited to a Maia BJJ seminar in Vegas. He asked Demian if he could attend. Not only did Maia say yes but he put in extra work at it's conclusion, watching film with Neil of his fights with Gastelum and Erick Silva. Going through the grappling sequences and analyzing the mistakes he made.

Now mind you this is a guy who Maia submitted in a UFC fight. Also remember that Maia did the same thing after fighting Gunnar Nelson including flying out to Iceland to put in some work with Gunni.

It is easy to lose yourself as a fan in the politics and bravado of prize fighting. Guys like Maia will always epitomize the true meaning of martial arts.

I always wanted a Gsp Maia fight ... I know George would try to keep it standing but would love to see what would happen on the floor. Gsp has the best ground control ever and it would be cool to see a guy who could actually sweep him and cause a lot of problems
