Demetrious Johnson vs Henry Cejudo?

I'm not giving Cejudo much of a chance but many times champs lose to people we don't think they will

I think that Cejudo has the best credentials of anyone he's ever fought at 125, but its waaaaaaaay too early in Cejudo's career for this title shot. He's going to get lit up and probably finished.

Actually looking very forward to it, other than one more Joey Benavidez fight, this is the last hope for Flyweight.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you see Johnson out-grapple Cejudo, wouldn't surprise me at all.

I believe this is the first 125 lb fight I've ever been truly excited about. Not only is it an intriguing matchup, but for whatever reason Cejudo rubs me the wrong way, so I'll be a big MM fan that night.

I think it's a fantastic fight. More excited by it then any other on the card. Can't wait.

I understand a lot of sherdog dont really like the 125pound division (inb4 midget division) but can we agree that this is a insane matchup! Henry Cejudo is a gold medalist in the olympic games, this has to be the greatest athlete Demetrious has ever fought. I think people are sleeping on this one... Thoughts on the fight?
MM could find himself fighting off his back or defending his back a lot in this fight, people are definitely sleeping on it.

yeah Cejudo does seem to have a strange personality, can't quite point it out myself but yeah hes probably just a bit introverted

If anyone can Beat MM it is Cejudo. That sad I think it will be very hard for Cejudo to beat MM.

I think Cejudo will be more competitive than most people think. The areas where MM does the most damage (the clinch and from top position) are areas where Cejudo can either minimize MM's effectiveness (the clinch), or outright avoid altogether (the ground). Cejudo is also a serviceable striker to the point that he can likely avoid getting dominated there. Still, being reasonably competitive is probably all he can hope for. Based on what we've seen of Cejudo so far, I have serious doubts he can hold MM down for any amount of time. He also hasn't really shown many indications of possessing fight ending power (contrary to what many might think, many if not most of MM's past opponents actually have shown this). If the only real route to victory for him involves outstriking MM over 5 rounds (and I think that's probably the only predictable way he wins), his chances aren't very good.

I respectfully say I'm not a fan of MM and the entire 125lb division. So Im really indifferent. Don't really care. But I will check it out most likely. I hope for a decent fight.

Olympic Gold medalist whose been perfect in MMA so far. I'm excited. Cejudo definitely feels that he's ready.

Who has done the best against dj? Dodson the first time?

Pretty low bar, cejudo could be the best guy hes fought

Cejudo hasn't looked super impressive, I mean he looks like he's got good striking and wrestling but he hasn't outclassed his opponents on the level that DJ has and his opponents haven't been as good. Cejudo's got a lot of potential though. I hope he gives DJ a competitive fight.
