Tim Silva got cheated. They changed the rules as he was walking into the ring. They did everything to make sure he could not win.

Silva just beat a younger former WBC champion. Handily. Not to mention this is Silvas 3rd boxing match so pretty dumb to throw the 0.500 stat out.

You guys seem to talk about JCC jr as if he is shitty or low tier. He is literally 52-6. Obviously hes washed up now, but why not give props to both for challenging themselves, unlike the idiots at triller.

Not true about Sylvia. It was supposed to be a boxing match, but they changed it to MMA last minute.

As for Chavez Jr. He's ranked 72 in the world at Light Heavyweight. Also, he's a POS and I'm glad Anderson Silva won.

I've been defending boxing on this site for 15 years.

Had Paul to kill Askren, Randy to finish Toney in round 1, Artem to do good vs Paulie (he still didn't actually win that fight) and Anderson in this fight. For some reason whenever there is a crossover type fight, average fans throw logic out the window.

You might be 48 and 10 vs same opposition. Chavez Jr is a druggie and sucks, outworked some superior boxers due to diuretics and actually kind of training. Still has that Chavez chin though. Someone who can't run a lap around the track and spends all his money on drugs and whores lost to someone way bigger who has been taking boxing seriously for 10+ years. Shocking. Still good for him and love to see Jr lose again. Too bad Spider didn't knock his ass out for true coup de grace.

Don't try to expand nothing into something.

This was Silvia's third loss in a roll and the first two losses were to guys who were clearly beyond their prime. Also, trying to expand Silvia into some multidimensional MMA fighter is ridiculous. The guy won his fights through striking exclusively.

Claressa Shields will have a choice of fighting cans her whole career or completely reshaping her body to a different size. She weighed around 155 on her boxing and there are no high rated MMA female fighters even close to that weight.

Holly Holm was not new to MMA when she fought the champion. She had completed nine MMA fights before she fought Ronda Rousey. Rousey also had terrible striking so it was a time bomb waiting to happen.

I know we've long been under the illusion that a boxer was the strongest man on the planet, but it's bullshit.

this man would eat any boxer alive, even Royce would also have submitted Iron Mike easily.
